I need help!

I have no icons on my windows 7 desktop... I can acess all my programs, and I have icons on the task bar, just not on the desktop... I've tried Ctrl+Alt+Del, shutting it down, restarting it, everything I could think of, but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas? Thanks!

This is talking about putting stuff back like the Recycle Bin, My Computer, etc.

Are you saying that even if you've put a shortcut on your desktop that it's gone too?
