Say What You Want: Wow, I am so very sad that I missed the closure of this site.... I have no idea if anyone is able to read this, or if all hope of a goodbye is lost. In any case, I'd like to say thanks to all those who were a big part of my life. Regretfully, I haven't been on here for a long time, yet I doubt that anyone would begrudge the decision. Thank you, Willi, for providing us with an outlet, a meeting place, a home ♥

OH MY GOD!!
The Jays actually swept a series!! WTF?? With two, that's TWO, walk off wins!! They hadn't had ONE this year. We've lost Shaun Marcum, Dustin McGowan and Vernon Wells so I'm sure we'll tank any day, but it was finally really nice to see them win!!

Re: MLB Anyone?
Well looky there....the Jays have won 5 of 6, swept the O's and took two of three from the Stankees!! Burnett pitched an absolute gem, and of course BJ shut them down in the ninth! I like the way the team is looking as of late, and hey, maybe they could get to .500 right after the all-star break, wouldn't that be fantabulous!!!!

Re: MLB Anyone?
Dude, I have never seen a more fantastic play than the one that Johnny Mac and Scutaro pulled off the other night....if that doesn't make PLAY OF THE YEAR, then I don't know what would.....absolutely brilliant!!
AJ, I am in LOVE! He was amazing today, and his interview afterward was really good. He said that his name has been tossed around in trade rumours and that he would have to be a dummy not to know, but the Jays crest is on his chest and that is who he is playing for until they tell him otherwise! Great answer, I also loved his fist pump after striking out Posada, I don't think Posada appreciated it, but I thought it was fantastic!!
I loved the teams excitement, and their celebration after the game, with them hugging and high fiving, it looks like Cito has them all on the same page, which is definitely nice to see! Let's hope the All-star break doesn't hinder their progression!!

Another topic I can get into! I am a baseball freak! Heading to LA next month and trying to figure out how to make time to get to Dodger stadium to mark it off my bucket list.

Re: MLB Anyone?
So....the Jays are still mathematically in the wild card race, which I don't think is gonna happen no matter how much I want it, but I think the only thing that saved them was Cito Gaston. It is so nice to see him back in the drivers seat with the Jays! That is where he should always stay! THey are like 12 games above .500 under Cito....could you imagine where they'd be if they started the year under his management???? We might actually be in the playoffs. I was upset to see them trade Matt Stairs and David Eckstein, but I also think they were carrying WAY too many infielders, and at least Matty Stairs has a chance to go to the playoffs!! He definitely deserves it after his career! I have been so impressed with the way the Jays are taking their bats lately, they aren't all willy nilly, they have a plan and it's definitely showing.
Well I guess I've gone on for long enough, so all I can say is....I can't wait for next season, and let's keep our fingers crossed that AJ decides to come back for one more year!!
