Re: Fanfiction Recommendations
It would appear its time for a couple more recommendations! Here are a few I have been enjoying:
The Heart of the Matter by Daisydol. Very well-written, very touching, a little angsty. Rated M.
[Only admins are allowed to see this link]
Under covers? by CheeseBK. Booth and Bren undercover at a swingers' club. What else is there to say? Rated M.
[Only admins are allowed to see this link]
Parker Takes a Stand by Kairbear1980. Parker has a predictable reaction to Booth dating someone other than Bren. Effing cute as a button. Rated K.

Happy reading!

Re: Fanfiction Recommendations
Labsquint's two story arcs. It's the best fiction I've come across. Terrifyingly realistic.

Re: Fanfiction Recommendations
Okay. I never, ever, EVER thought I'd get into reading fanfic, but during the first hiatus of this season I started reading some, and just couldn't stop. Now I read it. Obsessively.
SO, I'm going to start posting links to my favorite stories here...
The first one, one I just barely finished reading, is here:
[Only admins are allowed to see this link]
BEFORE you click on that link and begin reading, let me warn you. IT'S VERY HARD TO STOP READING. I have been planted in front of my computer screen for like...I dunno. Several hours. I couldn't tear my eyes away from this story. It's suspenseful, gripping, extremely well done, and, as one of the reviews said--heartbreaking. (Don't worry, it ends happily!) The author really outdid him/herself.
Anyway, give this fic a chance. You won't be sorry! I promise!

Out of Character
[Only admins are allowed to see this link]
This, right here, is possibly one of the BEST multi-chapter drama/angsty/romance fics I have EVER read. It gets better and better as it progresses. (It's complete now)
It literally made me cry. And....I....I don't do that. Nothing makes me cry.
Read it!

Re: Fanfiction Recommendations
I have a few recommendations. I believe that some of them were in the old thread and haven't been re-posted. I enjoy all of these enough to reread them occasionally.
I love Strangers by writingforthemoney. It's not really long and there are a few grammar errors, but the story is fantastic.
Servare Vitas by newscaper is a long and intense story, but amazing.
I really wish slayer0682 would post the promised epilogue to Spider Touch, but other than a missing a bit of concluding wrap-up the story is complete.
As others have mentioned, you can't go wrong if you're reading labsquint. She does the most fantastic case-fics.

Re: Fanfiction Recommendations
Sensate Focus by 5SteamboatsShippingCo.
I found this one last night when we were talking about the Season Four Finale spoilers...
Basically, Booth and Brennan are fighting like cats and dogs. Then one night, they take it a little too far, but Booth stops it, so that pisses Brennan off. They're fighting even worse in therapy and at the same time Jack and Angela's marriage is on the rocks. Sweets recommends a therapy called "sensate focus" which also happens to be a sex therapy bit. They go to a cabin in the woods owned by Sweets' father. They are told that for twenty-four hours they should have no goals and try to communicate. And do they EVER communicate. When they go back to the real world, they agree that they shouldn't have a sexual relationship, but as it turns out that's a heck of a lot harder than they thought--they can't keep their hands off each other, they're out of control. They agree that they should have sex before Sweets' sessions to relieve the pressure/anxiety... so they do--but they want each other more than that... And besides wanting each other, they realize that they really do LOVE each other. The characterization is freaking awesome, even down to their reactions to their changing relationship, the way they 'compartmentalized' their sexual relationship--I really recommend this story!
