I was afraid to tell my dad because he would get pissed so I sat in my room all day with a lump on my head and a headache until my mom came home.

And then there was this one time that my brother and I put a whole in the wall. That was really, really bad day.

Yet I can never, ever speak ill of the same man that didn't eat for three days so that we could eat the little food that remained in the cabinets when we couldn't afford it. Or the same man that works his ass off for eight hours with a lump on the back of his ankle from when he broke his ankle and couldn't afford the doctor bills to ever get it properly fixed. I still must applaud this man for everything that he has done for me.
Sounds like a super dad, kas...a bit like mine, I think. It's too bad that everyone doesn't have parents like that.

My computer just detected a device called "pooh-pc"

I didn't know that I lived in the Hundred Acre Wood or that Winnie the Pooh could use the computer...

When my brothers and I were babies, we always had this Winnie the Pooh blanket that our parents wrapped us in when we were rocked in the rocking chair. When my dad found it the other day when he was going through stuff, he wanted to give it to Goodwill but I wouldn't let him. I love that blanket even if it's been thrown up on many times over.
