I have a gift for these things cup, I pretty much always know what's going to happen or who the killer is... Once I knew she went to school with Tim I knew she was no good. Her connection seemed to be the longest allowing for the most time for her to want to murder him. The fact that he "fell" through a fan, indicated that it was probably a female killer, less hands on, no need to move the body if it was an accident. The lack of clues dealing directly with her as time went on meant less information to clear her with.

Rookies,
Once you think you have solved the crime, post your answer in here. However, you can only post once and you cannot change your mind. It is advisable to wait until the majority of the clues are in, because you make such a large decision accusing someone of murder.

Re: The Interrogation Room
I am betting on Lily. All the evidence point to her. And i think she didn't do it alone. I have suspicion that Sinclair was mixed in this somehow. But ... Lily seem to do it. Altough... I don't know was she strong enough to kill him. The bookcases and the final blow... I guess with the help of Sinclair. It seem to be tandem. I Don't believe it was Edwina. And i don't believe it was Charles. With charles... it would be too obvious.

Re: The Interrogation Room
J'accuse Sinclair Vanderhill!
I maintain that Sinclair Vanderhill is the illegitimate child of the chaffeur and Edwina Sneed. Discovering his parentage he sought to cash in and get his share of the estate. He first felt out Lily as a potential ally, found out about her affair with Jonah, and then approached him assuming that his disdain for the family estate and affair with Lily would translate into support in seeking a share of the wealth when he confronted Edwina and Charles.
Instead Sinclair goes to see Jonah, who following his dinner with Lily knows what Sinclair is planning, and instead of finding a ready ally he finds the eldest Sneed resistant to the idea of the odious Sinclair to being even a 'half-blooded Sneed', and regardless of his feelings toward his brother or his mother's past indescretions, Jonah would not hear of Sinclair pushing forward. An argument erupts, it becomes heated, there's a struggle resulting in the perimortem bruising of Jonah's arms. During the struggle the bookcase is toppled onto Jonah. Seeing him pinned there Sinclair snatches at the first thing he sees, the billyclub, and swings twice at Jonah's head, silencing him. Sinclair wipes off his prints and leaves Jonah to die.
C'mon Sinclair, we all know that's how it went down.

Re: The Interrogation Room
I'm confused. I can't decide between Charles and Sinclair... because both have motive. I wouldn't say Lilly because of the mess the body was found in.
However, I'll chose Charles. First, no-one else thinks he is it yet. And second, he could easily be Jonah's half brother. Especially with Ewina's history. Of course Sinclair could be his half brother as well, but Edwina must've been pregnant for that. I can't see why she would give him away after a pregnancy that some people must've noticed...
And if Charles was having trouble dealing with his childhood and his mother's affairs, he must've felt aweful and maybe revengeful when he noticed his brother might be having an affair with his wife.
Plus, the murder itself, blow to the head with an instrument suggests impulse to me. not sth that was planned.
Then again I feel kinda wrong... However, I stay with Charles.

Re: The Interrogation Room
Alright, I haven't really been playing the game, but, I went over the clues, and this is what I think happened.
- Spoiler:
- I think Sin Clair killed Jonah. See, Lilly was cheating on Charles with Sin Clair. So that's no reason for Charles to kill Jonah. (Also, he just got a little embarrased, that's no reason to kill someone. I think they both talked it out, and just laughed it off.) It would be more of a reason to kill Sin Clair. So, Charles is a NO. Then Lilly got "tired" of Sin Clair, so she went to Jonah. Sin Clair got angry, because she was cheating on him with his half brother. Lilly and Jonah had dinner at the linguine/Truffle place. They went home to have sex, Sin Clair walks in to "talk" <--(tell him to back off his woman) to Jonah (that's why you find Lilly's DNA there). Lilly tries to protect Jonah, but is unsuccessful, and Sin Clair kills Jonah with the antique police bat thing.

Re: The Interrogation Room
Well I pointed out all my arguments in the Bullpen already and the last two clues, weren't really changing anything for me.
I still think that Sinclair and Lilly are the most likely suspects, but I think that it was Sinclair.

Re: The Interrogation Room
Given all the evidence we have, I think it was Sinclair. I think Jonah discovered his parentage and that they shared a mother and planned to do soemthing about it, or at the least wasn't willing to help Sinclair anyway. I do think Lily was involved somehow, was perhaps trying to convince Jonah to help Sinclair, but I don't think she was the one who killed him. They went to dinner and I think maybe she wasn't so much leading him on as possibly trying to milk information from him.
Sinclair went to speak with Jonah not necessarily with the intent to kill, but in the end that is what happened.
