I, Bobby-Boo, would just like to wish everyone up nort of me a great Canada day, eh? And any of you hosers out dere who can't appreciate our brothers from de frozen nort of Canukistan can just take off eh? Me an my buds, we're gonna kick back on dat dere chesterfield and celebrate this Canada day by flyin' the maple leaf, cranking up dat dere Rush, and crackin' a two-four of Labatt's eh? 'Cause, you know Rush is still the best damn band to come out of the great white nort, and you can't get no Kokanee down here - hey, only posers from Trawna and Newfies drink Export, eh? Well dat's all I got to say about Canada day, oh, except for dis dere, gotta love my nordern brothers when it comes to hockey, but dudes, your football sucks, eh?

Take Off Hosers! RM

BRILLIANT!! I'm surprised you even realized that there was a country above you!! Haha, thanks!!

Bella
Heh, of course I realized dere's a country above us, eh? I'm just that observant, eh? Although some of us down here forget sometimes, mostly 'cause except for Quebec your just like us without the guns, eh? Oh, and unlike a lot of our beer? Your beer don't suck as a rule, well, except for Export, 'course I was never a fan of Molson to begin with, eh?

It's Canada Day, Talk like a Canadian!

Seriously, I wish I talked like you wrote, but unfortunately I don't. Just ask Bizzle(A2B) She's the one with the accent!! I hate Export, I even hate Molson Canadian, if I'm drinking beer, it's Budweiser, or KEITH'S!! Keith's is Canadian, I also don't mind Moosehead if I'm in the mood!! And we don't really recognize Quebec as a part of Canada, they're just a bunch of French whiners, and they don't even speak real french!!! Who knew? American beer is like sex in a canoe, they're both fuckin' near water!!!!!!

Bella
Heh, you know what the kicker is? My relatives in the Wisconsin Dells sound almost exactly like that, maybe worse eh? Never had Keith's, but I've had Kokanee, Moosehead, and Labatt's is good. Don't know much about the Quebecois, just that it's a pain in the ass to deal with them - they really are their own little country, and the only American beers I drink are micro brews since they're the only ones with flavor, otherwise I stick to bourbon or scotch. Ya' just can't go wrong with a good single malt. But you know the one question I'd really like to have the answer to? Why in the hell do we call it a couch and you call it a chesterfield? What the hell is up with that?

king RM

It's Canada Day, Talk like a Canadian!

We call it a chesterfield because that was a brand name....kinda like La-Z-boy. It was a Canadian company that produced couches....therefore it stuck. It is truly a Canadian term and one I am proud to say even though I don't think I've ever owned one!! Oh and Kokanee is not a good beer, and neither is Labatts!! In my opinion anyway. If you want a good Canadian Micro Brew try Sleemans or Okanagan!! They're pretty good!!

Meh, I enjoy my guns. Had 'em a long time, still collecting more. I enjoy shooting them, love hunting, love target shooting, it's incredibly relaxing as a sport and a hobby. I don't lock my door either - hardly anyone in my neighborhood does, last major crime we had around here was like, seven years ago? Haven't even had a break-in in over five years and when my neighbors left town last week they put the key to their front door under the mat so anyone one of their neighbors could collect their mail and put it in the huose for them. Like you said, it's all good in da hood.

I've shot guns before on a shooting range, but there is no way in hell I would ever have one in my house!! Absolutely no freakin' way. Plus I could never ever, ever kill an animal with my own hands. Buy it in the grocery store....sure, except a gift from my brothers-in-law fine, but myself....there is just no way I could shoot Bambi in the head and be able to sleep. I'm all for being a hunter if that's your thing, but I just couldn't do it.....EVER!!!

Okay, that makes sense. It's just always bugged me, so thanks for that one. It's been a good few years since I last had Kokanee, but I recall liking it - I could have been drunk at the time, so who knows, but I do know I like Labatt Blue, so we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I'll have to try those micro's next time I'm up north, planning on visiting the Hockey hall of fame next year but I'm sure we'll get up to Tarawna before then. Very Happy

I get the aversion to firearms, there are folks down here who react the same way, I've just never understood it. Of course I was raised around them and taught basic firearms safety at an early age, and I grew up on a farm, we raised beef cattle and wheat, where it was a 40 minute wait for the county sherrif to show up at your place if you dialed 911, so you either had a gun to protect your property and deal with wild animals threatening your herd or you got robbed and animals died. Pretty basic really.

I guess living on a farm you get a different persepctive on things. Not only have I shot and killed bambi, I gutted her, trussed her up and tossed her in the bed of the truck, and took her in for processing. And when it was time to eat dinner in the off season I could tell you which steer the steak or roast or hamburger came from - it did put some of my friends off their feed when I'd say, "You remember that stubby eared calf you guys helped bottle feed two years ago? You're eating him." It was mean, yes, but I got extra steak out of it.

Guilty as charged. You know how hard it was for me to get used to ordering a steak at a restaurant when I grew up eating 22-24 oz steaks? The first time I saw a 12oz sirloin on my plate I thought I'd made a mistake and ordered off the kid's menu, I swear. I don't eat as much red meat as I used to, I do plan at least another 20 years on this earth, but I've yet to reconcile myself to those pink tissue thin pieces of meat folks call steak. I still get mine from home, 1½" to 1¾" thick.

You know what I have to say to that?

No wonder you played football!

That sig of yours! I just realized something about that first pic. I get the idea that a part of what makes it so beautiful, maybe extra beautiful is a better way to put it, is that her eyes and her dress match ... and eyes aren't supposed to be that color. You did good waiting until you got just the perfect pictures to make your sig with.

I think you've got something there, the dress does match her eyes and that makes her seem fey in appearance, making hers a sublime, almost ethereal beauty. I did do good waiting until I found the right pics for my sig, I really need to thank Ella again, since she's the one that turned me on to that sight. Honestly though, as hot as the first pic is I can get lost in her eyes when I look at the second. I even set it as my wallpaper...I got it bad.

I see what you mean. In the picture on the right she just looks like any girl from anywhere that just happens to be stunning! Kind of like she'd like to talk to you, not daring to see if you're man enough!

I don't know if Toronto has Okanagan or even Sleemans for that matter, I think they are more of a West Coast company, but if you find them, enjoy them!
