DB wants to be Bruce Willis?

`Bones' and Bruce

``Bones'' star David Boreanaz looks to Bruce Willis as a role model.

On a conference call promoting the show, Boreanaz said he hopes ``Bones'' will lead to film roles the way ``Moonlighting,'' a 1980s TV drama with a twist of romantic comedy, helped Willis achieve movie stardom.

``I actually bumped into him ... and he couldn't have been nicer,'' Boreanaz said of Willis. ``If I had to model anything, it would be the way his career has unfolded.''

Boreanaz said it would help if the ``Bones'' writers gave him more action sequences. He plays an FBI agent assigned to work with a forensic scientist (Emily Deschanel). The show is in its fourth season on Fox (Wednesdays, 8 p.m. New York time).
