I have not read Midnight Sun yet. And you could be right about that. I know I always pictured him as more suave, but I've seen the movie six times so really... I'm not complaining.

Okay, so I'm finished Eclipse, and I am buying the next one today, but what a brilliant book! I loved Jacob and he broke my heart numerous times, and yes I did shed some tears, but I thought it was amazing! I can't WAIT to get started on the next one!!

Anytime... and I have it downloaded on my computer so that when the urge hits me I can just push play. I figure I bought a ticket five times and I'll buy the dvd.

So, I'm halfway through Breaking Dawn and all I can say is WOW!! Jacob imprinting....I knew it would have to happen one day.....and Bella's restraint and Edward and her are amazing!! I'm loving it, and I did cry a bit through the whole Jacob and the pack thing, but I've settled down now and I don't want this book to be over 'cause then I'll have to read them all again!!

I read Midnight Sun and completely loved it. More on Edward's POV: in the fanfic sector, Alphie (she runs the Twilight Lexicon and is actually friends with Stephenie, who REVIEWED HER FIC!) has written this really wonderful story of Twilight from Edward's perspective. It's called The Lion and the Lamb and it's up on fanfiction.net. Unfortunately, Alphie has stopped writing for a while, but it seems that she might be starting again.
My two cents on Pattinson: I thought that he was okay with the 'I've killed people, I'm in constant anguish that I have to deny my nature' part of Edward, but I really thought that he was lacking the grace that I pictured in my head-Edward (don't we all have one?).

Alright so I really wasn't going to go see it... But my roomie convinced me to go because she said she knew I'd like it. And guess what? I DID! Wow. Sexual tension much?

Okay, so I finished Breaking Dawn, and all I can say is WOWZA, absolutely BRILLIANT!! I can't believe that as of a week and a half ago, I hadn't read any of them and now I'm done the entire set. I will definitely have to read them all again, but I'm thoroughly pleased with the entire series!!

Sploosh phoebs, you finished LatL already?! I've been on a Buffy fanfic kick and haven't read Twilight fic in a long time. I found that so many teens read the books and then want to write "OMG, FANGIRLS!!!!" type of fic that it was too much effort to pick out the good from the bad. Also since the really huge Twilight hype started before Eclipse came out, which was when I started reading, there weren't too many private fic archives that had the real quality stuff. But I just checked my fanfic faves and found that I also enjoyed what was basically Lion and the Lamb for New Moon. I can't guarantee that it's actually good, because I can't remember that much of it, but here's the link:
Her Blood Sings by MidnightWalking
There might be actual archives now, I don't know. You can look on the Twilight Lexicon, or what I think was the first Twilight fansite, Topaz and Debussy. Have fun, and don't read til your head explodes!
Also, Bella- Rock the reading, girl!

oooh thank you fluff... I shall have to check it out.

You know what I don't get... when they write fanfic where everyone is human.... doesn't that defeat the point?

Yes...I have never really gotten the point of AU fic. AR is understandable (what if Angel didn't show up in Sunnydale? What if Rosalie didn't tell Edward about Bella during New Moon?) but why write what might as well be original fiction using the names of characters from other popular media? I'm not saying that the stuff is bad- I've read a lot of good Buffy AU- I'm just saying why not do your own stuff instead of grabbing other people's. Oh, but Domestication by Indie? That is so stunningly phenomenal that I would recommend that she publish it, but she talks about Buffyverse vampires, the Slayer, Watchers, etc. But I was asked to beta an AU Twilight fic and it felt like a waste. (Maybe because it wasn't very engaging or well written.)
