I am very surprised that this went cold so I thought I'd revive it since Eclipse is coming out in 7 days. Is anyone going to see it in theaters at midnight or waiting until the hype passes?

I already have the tickets! lol. As for waiting, no prob. I go camping tomorrow morning, and come back monday. I'll be ok.

I'm going to the first showing that's available at the Gold Class.
I couldn't bear to go to the midnight screening with hundreds of screaming fan girls!!! 12 people in the theater is enough for me!!

Yeah I am waiting until a day or two afterwards for it to die down because I want to actually hear the movie over the screaming. lol I can't believe it's already here though. New Moon seemed to take forever to come out. I have a feeling Breaking Dawn is gonna feel like an eternity to come out in theaters since it's November 2011.

It's actually being split into 2 movies! Who knows it will take to release the second part!!

Yeah I read about it being 2 movies. I meant to say the time span between Eclipse and the first BD movie will feel like forever but I now see that I messed it up. lol oh well. I am hoping they do the 2nd movie in June 2012 instead of waiting until November again. Both movies are supposed to be filmed at the same time so there should be no reason to wait another year to release the second one but I know they want to drag this saga out as long as they can.

Yep I bet they'll both be filmed and they will just hold on to the last part to torture us all!!

So what's the verdict? Has anyone seen the new movie?

I saw Eclipse today after much debating, and it was ok I guess. I kept hearing about how amazing it was and for me, it was on about the same level as New Moon. I liked it and will probably go back for another viewing in a couple of weeks, but I still continue to feel like something is missing in these movies. I just still think that if they wanted it to seem like a more plausible decision for Bella, and one she is actually struggling with, they needed a different actor for Edward. Or they need to make Robert do something to make himself more appealing. Maybe it's just my age though. LOL..to me, with the current actors in the roles, Jacob is way more appealing in every way.

Ok, so I'm going a bit off topic here, on facebook, I posted my status as "Eclipse was a good movie" and someone from the fringe forum (also a friend on facebook) said the they didn't know if they should be friends with me cuz I liked the series. WTF!? I think it's stupid how people think that way...

Butting in to say: Ash, I don't know this person, but you know, sarcasm doesn't translate well in written form. I mean, it was probably a joke. If the person was serious (which I doubt because, well, as you said, stupid) then you're not losing a friend, really. Because talk about narrow-minded.

I'm not a fan of the books, never read one of them, but I do wonder about the new movie. All the hoopla and whatnot. Besides, uh, yeah, I actually like KS as an actor. *shrug* I saw the two other films (liked the second, couldn't stand the first one). Came here looking for opinions on the third installment. Did you see it Ash (as per your facebook status)? Liked it?
