A Buffy Movie?

Post by willgirl on Sun Nov 30, 2008 6:25 am

This is definitely a rumour but several movie sites are reporting it so I thought I'd mention it and put up this poll.

Apparently there's a full length Buffy feature in the works?

Read about it here: [Only admins are allowed to see this link]

Then vote in the poll and say whether you would see this or not AND whether David Boreanaz should do this or not!

Never seen Buffy or Angel and no interest in watching them now. I will stick with BONES.

i voted -> No, that's in the past. He needs to do new stuff like Bones.

I did watch Buffy and a little Angel. But I really prefer the kind of drama he's in now. Even though there are a lot of crime dramas out there. I think David should stay in Bones because he's been able to do something a lot of other people cannot do...which is do a complete 180 and still be successful. Buffy/Angel is nothing like Bones.

I've seen a bit of Buffy. But I really don't care for the show. I think DB should keep moving forward with his career. No need in back-tracking.

and I totally agree...while Buffy was where I first saw him (Dec 2004 after the fact but I digress)...honestly...? it'd be a step back IMO...he HAS done a complete 180...and personally, I prefer him as SA Seeley Booth any day...although that vamp will always have a special place in my heart.

Yep, ITA, I am a massive Buffy/Angel fan, since 1997 BUT even I know that the cast has moved on to other things, (Booth, woo-hoo!!!) that they enjoy doing, so nope, imo, a Buffy/Angel movie not going to happen!

I watched Angel after it was off the air and fell in love with David. so I went back to watch Buffy. I tried to get into Buffy, but it was too young for me, so I only watched the episodes that had David in it. I really enjoyed Angel, but that is in the past and I can't see David reprising his role as Angel. If he does decide to do it, I would watch it for him only. TV Guide really missed the boat by not including David Boreanez as one of the sexiest Vampires on TV.

I became a David Boreanaz fan by way of Angel re-runs, then Buffy, then Bones. I don't know if a Buffy movie would make it, but maybe with vamps in the air the way they are right now it could. If Angel is in it I'd hope that it wouldn't be a very big role, David'd have a hard time pulling off 20-something nowadays, even though he does get sweeter with time!

As a Buffy fan I'd be more interested in whether or not they'd pull Spike into it or not!! Now that was some good Buffy!

Iv'e been a huge buffy/angel fan for years, but I dont think I'd want to see him in a buffy movie. I dont think half the cast members would come back for it anyways so probably wouldnt watch it.
It would be heartbreaking anyway to see him kiss sarah michelle gellar rather than emily...

The order in which I got into them: Bones=>Buffy=>Angel.
Because I'm a HUGE B/A shipper, I would love to see Angel pop in for, like 2 seconds, to go "hey, I turned human and am married to Buffy. Woo hoo!" But I doubt that David would want to go back to being Angel, especially when he already has to fight to be recognized as a Bones star and not as that guy who played Angel. Also I'm not sure the movie will happen at all. There have been Buffy movie rumors for years and nothing has come of it. They didn't get the Giles series, or the Slayer series or the Faith series. I am seriously doubtful.

I am a serious buffy/Angel fan. As in right there, from the beginning, can quote the episodes. And even I vote no. Too much time has passed and they wrapped the two series up. I just can't see it working. At least not in the same way that Sex and the city worked.

I can't quite pinpoint the why, but everything in me is saying NO!
