I found this late so I wasn't able to comment with each chapter, but, uhm... how do you say, FREAKING AMAZING!

Awesome job. The characterization was very good with few exceptions. Technically accurate (as far as I know, though the Korean war predated the Vietnam war by nearly two decades.) And just very good general writing. Detailed without being verbose and... just awesome.
