i can tell you that my favourite sport is tennis (which it isn't), what my name is, how old i am and i can count to twenty....

not really very useful...

I am on the same boat with you Bess I only know english and spanish whereas here they seem to know at least more than 3

counting is the only thing I can in more than two languages.....
it's easy to count....no grammar....

A bit more...gutten morgen, heute, ich liebe dich, gutten appetit, etc. English helps a lot. We also sing quite a lot in German, so reading your language is pretty easy for me.

That's actually true. But if you want to learn an easy language, try Spanish or Italian.

we pronounce most things like it is written anyway....if you know how the letters sound in german you can build the words rather easily

Well, today is a bit better. I had to submit it first yesterday morning and I had had only a 3-hour sleep before that. Then last night and this morning I had to do some alterations and hand it in again, now to the Head of Department! lol Again didn't sleep a lot last night. But...don't really wanna complain. I'm happy I have finally done something towards my graduation.
