David in Good Housekeeping?

Post by bugaboo628 on Fri Jan 16, 2009 5:59 am

I have been told that David is in the Feb issue of Good Housekeeping. Has anyone seen it? I am just curious, I haven't yet and usually don't read the mag. Feel free to scan it in for me. :-)

Yes, David is in the 2/09 issue of GoodHousekeeping, page 57. Short article about "Why I Give". He supports the Facing Forward Foundation that provides corrective surgeries for children with facial deformities. Very short article and a great picture of David. Not sure if the picture is a recent one, but he has that killer smile as always.

That's an awesome foundation! Awesome! Just awesome. It would probably be something I would give money to, too. I've always had a heart for children with cleft palates, Treacher Collins, etc.

He also included that he had helped fund a young boy whose mouth was so deformed he could not eat. And after his surgery he finally got to taste a burger!

And he got into the charity because one of his best buddies brother is a doctor who fixes facial deformities and he had heard through him. or something of that nature.

The picture of him wasn't that large though he was kind of in the corner bottom of the page (i think it was pg. 57). It wasn't my magazine because I was at my friends second home so I did not scan it or anything.

I was in Wal-Mart tonight and I couldn't find a Ladies Home Journal anywhere. I don't think they carry it! In my town that's the only place to look for magazines! Crying or Very sad
