Okay, so we agree to disagree?

I think she's a good influence...and who doesn't love vintage stuff?!?!?!

Meegs82 wrote:Tears, I know you look up to Emily and I know that you are a meat-lover. Fine. It still does not excuse what you said. I don't think I misunderstood you at all. You were responding to a video OF Emily being interviewed. Why would I think that you were NOT talking about her? Especially in regards to "smacking" her. I can understand your frustration with the people you have apparently run into who are vegan...but this vid was about Emily specifically. Your response to it seemed as though it were directed at her. If it was not intended to be, perhaps you should have said that.

It's fine you THINK you understood me, however apparently you did not. Whether or Not this was a video OF Emily or Not, all I said was that one thing she mentioned triggered a thought in my mind and I wrote it, sue me for expressing my write to free speech. All of you are sitting here thinking heaven forbid if I ever met her, the first thing i would do is "smack" her....

You know what? chill the hell out people, calm down. All I did was make a comment to a general group of people and now i get chewed up. Rest assure that I will NEVER meet Emily so she won't be smacked by my own hands. My comment was NEVER directed to Emily personally, If you want to keep on believing that, fine, I can't change your mind obviously. But really, If it bothers you that much, you might need to get some help.

Oh, spare me, Tears. "You might need to get some help?" Really? That's real nice. I don't need help, thank you, I was just standing up for something *I* believed in. And this is the last I am going to say about this.

Maybe you do need help, after all, you never met me and you never will. So why do you care what I think or say? Good for you for standing up for what you believe in, but really in this case you don't need to get your trousers in a bundle over it, it's not a big deal. Learn to brush off what people say and not give a crap. Take your anger to a rally or a protest, but here it's not that big of a deal.

You know, I once promised myself to never again answer to one of your rants, tears.
But all you are doing here at the moment is trying to create a fight.
We all get along pretty well and I don't think that a different opinion on any topic, especially something as unimportant as this, is worth to create such a fight in a normally nice and friendly atmosphere.
And I think that telling other people that you believe they need help (which to me means that you think they are insane) is something no one should be allowed to say, not even here, where we don't have (and until now, never needed) many rules.
We are a open community here, everyone can say his or her opinion, but getting personal is something, I can't understand.
I'm sure you'll send me another pm about how I should start going boxing or something like that tears.....but I really don't care what you think about me so you can send me whatever you want.

Isn't there a saying, "don't poke the bear with a stick" if you continue to poke me, I'll fight back. Don't poke me I have nothing to do. You feed my fire, you reap my flames.

I'll save the pm for something important, I said this wasn't important but you keep coming back and you keep fueling my fire, it's not my fault, all i do is reply.

You're missing the point...STOP replying and people will let it go. Oh, and on a more personal note...not ONCE did I directly insult you as you did to me by suggesting I "need help."

My thanks go to ToZika for pointing out how inflammatory Tears' remarks to me (and others) were.

Consider it let go on my part.

Now, can Emily *please* teach me everything she knows about helping the environment and how to be vegan? 'Cuz that would be fantastic! Smile

Ya'll know how I feel. If you hate me for it, fine. If you hate my attitude towards, fine. Well, I'm sorry and If i pissed anyone off along the way, I never intended too and I'm sorry.

The whole point of moving it to a PM was so noone else on the boards would have to witness it 'cuz it's not fair to anyone else. It IS let go as far as the topic in this thread is concerned. However, it would be interesting to post both my PM to you *AND* your response to me.

I did not mean, IN ANY WAY, to offend anybody. I thought I was standing up for something, that's all. I don't think anybody HATES anybody else...it's a strong word. I certainly don't hate anyone on here, including you, tears.

do what you want, it's funny really, I feel like i'm on virtual high school, except your 26 and I'm 22, it's funny that I know someone (well 2 people actually) who is the same age as you and it's funny seeing the difference in maturity. Well thankfully, I don't have to spend my time with you. Really, You used to be my "friend" now you're making it your mission to annoy me and i have to applaud you it's working. But seriously, let it go.

Oh believe me, they're out there, maybe up there in canada they have sane heads, but here in the states, they exist. Look at the governors who oppose gay marriage yet commit adultery. It's a joke, really, and they aren't the only ones. I can tell you lovely stories of what they do. It's scary. Like they collapse during worship and say that it's the power of lord and it's so powerful that it knocks them down... talk about creeeeeeeeeeepy.

I was being sarcastic. I do that when I take offence.

I know. I know. Leaving the thread now...

Okay, I'm putting a lock on this topic for the time being. I cannot abide hearing any more whining and frankly, push this any further and there will be consquences. Do all parties understand me?

I don't care who started it, who's fault it is, etc.

And as for the PM's, I've decided to revoke private message status for the time being.
