Emily in Rose Red?

Post by Shakari on Tue Feb 03, 2009 7:31 am

Has anyone seen this movie that Emily is in? I'm guessing it's a horror movie, and...I think she's evil in it, judging from the last few seconds of this clip.

Okay....this movie is crazy! I found it and am watching it...and characters are in like 3 places at once! I'm confused.

Here's the link if you want to watch it, too.

She's not evil...it's the house. It's hard to describe...it's a Stephen King movie...

Yeah...I was thinking it might be. His movies are always really bizzare. Since I've watched part of it I understand that the house is all...alive. Gotta wait five more minutes until it'll let me finish the movie, though. XD I was kinda hoping it'd make sense in the end, but seeing as you've confirmed it to be a Stephen King movie, my hopes aren't high. :p

The only Stephen King movie I watched so far is Carrie... And I liked that one. It's funny.
No, wrong... The Green Mile is by Stephen King too... Love that one.

Emily looks very different wth blonde hair... That way you can tell that her eyes are definitely blue and not green as it smetimes seems on Bones...

Thanks for the video and the link. I'll watch all of it if I have the time...

there are a few really good movies based on stephen king novels, like "carrie" or "shining", but lots and lots of bad ones too. guess the man just writes too many books to turn them all into good movies. Smile

wow, i only saw the clip on mute (since i'm at the library), but she looks really scary. good acting!

Rose Red is a three part mini series. I believe Emily's character was killed off in the 2nd part. At the end of the series, all the characters that had died in Rose Red came back to kill Joyce Reardon who was the reason they all came to the haunted house in the first place. At the very end the surviving characters come back to pay respects to the lost and the house itself is slated for demolition with the spot being sold as condos. Sorry for the spoilers but the mini series came out in 2002 so I figured if you haven't watched it you won't or you have already seen it.

No problem...The book actually wasn't too bad and then Stephen King went and wrote the Diary of Ellen Rimbauer(?) but he wrote it like an actual diary so it wasn't published under his name
