Re: The Salt in the Wounds – SHOW DISCUSSION
I liked the intern, but...it just seemed odd to see someone new after the Fisher, Murray, Daisy, Wendell, Clark rotation. (Yeah...I'm not playing favorites at all.
)....
The Roxie/Angela break-up wasn't emotional at all for someone who lives with her emotionas as strongly as Angela. And Roxie...this is the woman you quit doing art for. The one who, when she broke up with you, you stopped being an artist. You lost all inspiration. And all you get is a few tears in your eyes?
I do think they're building Brennan up a little, and I like that. I don't think she was that regressive really. There was someone who said they didn't get the whole Brennan watching the intern as he prayed shot. And I didn't at first, but I thought about it. Cam made a comment about what people do on break. The intern prays, Cam apparently, on very rare occasions, smokes. (Which is odd considering she's witness all the time to what smoking does to people's insides, but I'm not judging.)...and there was a bit about what everyone else does with their free time. But Brennan? She has her work. I mean sure, she writes her novel and all that...but that's kind of the feel I got from that.

I didn't understand the whole "living in the moment" thing. And personally, I thought that the circular pressure point wound thing, was going to be made by a pencil.

Re: The Salt in the Wounds – SHOW DISCUSSION
This episode was interesting. I read a couple of comments, then decided I should post my take and then read the rest. Like seeing the tension between Cam and Brennan, really lliked Bren trying to call in her free pass and Cam vetoed with her own. Bren and Cam had the tension going on in the previous epiosde also. Was suprised they brought in a new intern and that Bren was not as understanding, since she is always observing people from the anthropoligical aspect. I really liked the shots of her in deep, deep thought. I know some did not get what Bren was doing, but I certainly did and thing this shows another side of Bren and she is actually listening to Booth. My favorite was the ending with the dialogue between Booth and Clinton (I think that was his name). Booth nailed it right on and I would like to think got through to him......teens haven't changed that much and can be pretty selfish which is all part of growing up and discovering there isn't just you that is all important....your actions do have consequences. Then Bones watching them in the diner across the street....got me right in the heart....sometimes I get so emotional about the little things. This probably would not be my favorite episode, but I did enjoy it. Oh....I think Bren and Sweets gave Ange a different perspective on the whole live in the moment thing.

Once again - Cam and Brenan never agreed on "freebie declines" so where did that come from? Rewatch the episode they talked about it(S2 ep3) and tell me Im wrong

Re: The Salt in the Wounds – SHOW DISCUSSION
First episode I've *really* enjoyed in a while I think
It wasn't too much comedy, there was some decent science, the characters got time, not just Brennan and Booth. It's not the bestest ever episode, but I felt it was pretty good
Favourite moments (and there were a few, so I'll probably miss some)
* The freebies. Laugh out loud. Especially Brennan's grumpy look when she realised she lost!
*Hodgin's chest
*Angela's blatent manipulation of the pictures to get a dog.
*The intern of the week's mix cd, and the how he talked about it. Sweetest gesture.
*Angela freaking out that if Brennan approves of her lifestyle, perhaps her lifestyle isn't the best...
*Booth being all fatherly and telling Clinton the truth
*The "don't they have sex education here?" lines, cracked me up!
*Cam sort of admitting to sneaky cigarettes
*Angela and Brennan's girl talk
Oh I know there was more, but I watched it this morning and I'm tired now.
But all in all I was a happy bunny after watching
