Bones Fans Have Spoken! We get our Finale!

I thought there was supposed to be a Double Episode Night? Circus and Fire was one, wasn't there another?

There was supposed to be, wasn't there? But if this is what we'll get, I can't complain.

And plus, I've been thinking. If they're filming Beaver now, they have the ability to change things. I mean, don't you think once Hart and Co. got word they set to work maybe tweaking a scene a little, or adding a scene with Jared and Booth where they talk about the baby (assuming there will be one)...or the possibility of one? And plus, even if they don't tweak much...this is David and Emily, guys. David and Emily. Who improv the crazy convos, who can spin gold out of what on paper looked like next to nothing. I think we'll be okay.

Oh, and the finale. Booth's health drama. See, I've been thinking about that, and I'm wondering something. Is it possible for him to know something's up several episodes prior? Like, say, in 'Double Death'? Because, reading comments and sides, including that whole convo with Brennan where he asks her to do something if he dies...which yes, obviously could have been just because of things that happen in the case. But what if we do start seeing more symptoms sooner rather than later on? Why else, after the events in WITW/PITH which have gone untalkedabout until possibly then, would Booth bring something like that up? Just my thoughts anyway.

The Doctor in the Den 4/02, The Science in the Physicist 4/09, The Cinderella in the Cardboard 4/15, Mayhem on the Cross 4/16, Double Death of the Dearly Departed 4/23, Girl in the Mask 4/30, The Critic in the Cabernet 5/07 & Finale 5/14

Im guessing then that us UK'ers will be an ep down this season too!

Whilst im glad that there will indeed be a proper finale.... i'm just remembering how 'player under pressure' felt out of place when it was pulled and fitted into last season. The characters on this show evolve and change so quickly that it just makes the dynamics seem a bit 'off'.

Plus in light of certain finale spoilers things should start too feel VERY different in season 5.

OH i dont know..i guess it's the lesser of two evils. I still dont think that this should 'sweeten up' us bones fans though. People should still be vocal about how much FOX is letting us down.

Exactly. I'm pissed. All this A.I. instead of Bones makes me sick.

Moreover, I have this feeling that these changes on't be the last. There will be another speech and another time A.I. have to take our time-slot.

Well, at least you guys have had S4.... can't say that we've had much of it at all! Maybe once it finishes airing over there, we'll get it all in one hit here - keeping fingers crossed.

As for it being bumped by other things going on... umm, I can understand why. You've got the speech by the president - can't really NOT show it (but is anyone really that interested? It could be shortened down into sound-bites and shown later), and AI has a really big following (not that I'm one of them).

Having said that, I don't know what the ratings are for 'Bones' in the US, but I can only imagine that it's lower than AI, therefore it is the one that gets bumped and not AI. *sigh*

Thank God I'm not a tv exec.... I'd get hate mail from HELL all the time! hehehe
