You, My Dear, are no bother at all.
1) To get into Safe Mode requires turning the computer completely off. Then,
2) immediately after pressing the "on" button, start to tap the F8 function key . .

That will beep and then display a window that you may opt to go into Safe Mode or return to normal startup. You will:
3) Use the arrow keys to to select the for Safe Mode without Networking
4) when that option is highlighted, press (Return, or) Enter key

the computer will show a black screen wit ha bunch of gibberish and then alert you the computer has started in safe mode.
5) You login (if given the option) and then
6) You may go to the Programs menu and run your AVG and Superantispyware. They may be run at the same time.

7) After all is completed you may simply reboot your computer and it will start normally.

One last thing to consider. Run the updates for both AVG and Superantispyware before shutting down the PC and entering Safe Mode. You'll have the latest and greatest detection to be thorough.
