hehehe... I always pick the ones with the least amount of frosting.. if any!

and I forgot to say! while on Zanzibar... we went on a spice tour (because Zanzibar used to be where all the spices came from, before they grew them on bigger farms elsewhere) and I ate cinnamon fresh from a tree. The guy scraped off some bark, and gave it to us and it was soooooooo good!

That sounds really good. My aunt chewed cinnamon sticks to quit smoking and got addicted to them for a bit.

Native people in South America aren’t being exterminated though; I just think that to a certain extent THEY are the ones that are letting the ‘race die’ because the younger generation tired of some limitations and poverty are breaking away from home and going to either big cities or just moving to a whole different country; in Latin America natives aren’t ‘considered’ legends like they do here; they don’t have privileges or different laws we just let them live in peace. Which I admit in certain cases isn’t a good idea but most of the Amazonian tribes are still very much intact.
Well Turi - don't take offense - but the reason you all speak Spanish is because your nations were native tribes that were eradicated by Conquistadors. At some point in your own ancestry, you were native indian.

(sorry but I am just getting caught up)
I know that; and no I don’t take offense but the ‘pure native’ are the ones that are sometimes tired of the way they live; so they choose a different lifestyle.
Well they are surrounded by a very different world. I can see why they would be attracted to more than they are turned-off.

Why was Friday so bad? Did BM try to make up for the whole week he was sick or did I catch something about a virus on your computer?

*sighs*
it was a bad day in general and yes this PC DIED because an image corrupted a file.
I said this morning that I should wear a sign that says “computers hate me”
The only good thing is that BM”s nephew is an IT guy so he fixed the problem Friday night and didn’t charge him of course.
Otherwise I think my paycheck would get reduced when these things happen; which as you very well know is quite often.
BM even told one of our vendors that came to see him “hey you want a computer to break? just sit her in front of it” as if I needed any more reminders

definitely. soooo much fun. and on the spice tour, we got to taste/smell everything that was grown there... which is a lot! cinammon, sesame, ylang ylang, cardamom, cilantro/coriander, cloves, nutmeg, cacao, star fruit, something called cucumber fruit which was very sour and very good, ginger, coconuts. Everything we tried the guide cut off or dug up and then cut up for us right there. very cool.

Cinnamon Tree is holy for the native people here. There's a lot of myths for the tree... a very interesting one is that it will not grow unless it's the center of the garden. Interesting, uh?
