David Mentions the Finale *hot*

Oh I meant I wouldn't understand the hockey-speak. I listened to this one podcast and I didn't understand which player was which. But David was definitely knowledgeable. I've read several of his articles. He knows his crap.

I finally got to listen! I know only basic-basic about hockey, but I spent my entire childhood listening to my father and three brothers talking about sports all the time. They all played, my dad always coached. So listening to men talk about sports is old-home. You can tell things about them - especially when their team loses! Sounded to me like he was altogether straight about it. He placed the loss squarely on the Flyers' own shoulders and was right there rooting them on for the next game! That's so nice to hear!

The reason I listened was to hear about the finale! Can't wait!!!

And that one bit where he confuses the names Calico/Carcillo about the scandal. It made me laugh - maybe that Gorgonzola bit with Gormogon was written for Booth because it's so David!!

hehe...yea I know...I totally agree with him, btw...we lost Scottie for THAT...? not their best move, I don't think...lol...if they still had Scottie...? I personally think we'd be doing better...but that's just me...sigh...

and hehe...when I heard the finale bit...? well let's just say, it was a good thing I wasn't drinking anything at the moment or me poor bed woulda been soaked...lol

I think DB would be great on HNIC, don't you agree. Although I'm sure he'd be calling Flyers games if he ever did go into sport commentary.
