i hope Canada showing this early for the Finale doesn't affect ratings. I know that it hasn't affected it as much since they've done it a couple times. But still i can't believe they're doing it for the Finale. I'm not so sure I like that. That means its going to be leaked......ugh.

How does the rating systems work in America? Over here, it only 'counts' if you have a ratings box thingy in your house and I guess those people would be more 'responsible' about watching their favourites anyway? Do things like hulu.com etc get taken into consideration?

NO OFFENSE to the Canucks but I was hoping that the finale was at least going to be shown the same day

Absolutely agreed. I wish they hadn't shown it early.

Same here. I loved to watch some episodes one day earlier BUT the finale really should be shown the same day. Just my opinion.

well there's conflict with Survivor on Global Thurs @ 8...so Bones in Canada would either have to air before or after Survivor if it were to be on the same date. People in the US will just have to not go on the internet to watch the finale, if they are worried about ratings . It hasn't really affected ratings thus far in the season, has it?

i don't know it's hard to articulate why i feel this way. but i guess it's just not normal for a finale to be leaked all over the web before it even really shows. i mean the finale is supposed to be the big bang. it's just meh.

and that's hard to keep away knowing it's already going to be out there.

and HeyLJ (and i am sad for doing this) i looked up the ratings system in the US and it does work with a box thingy so people don't need to panic that it will affect ratings.
