I've downloaded Sense & Sensibility. There were 20 pages show up in the Kindle Store for that one. My goodness! I got an illustrated version. I started to sit down and read, but I figured that if I did I'd just fall asleep - I'm so tired. I'll try it tomorrow when I'm rested.

Well, I've been using my Kindle for a while so I thought I'd post a review. It's a pretty simple toy, totally geared for reading. It does make the FanFiction much easier to read and enjoy - my eyes are my friend once again!

Downloading the stories and throwing them into Notepad is simple, and loading them onto the Kindle is just as simple as putting them onto a thumb drive.

The battery lasts forever, easily a week between recharging if you turn off the WhisperNet (cell service). It's pretty simple to look up a word in its dictionary. Simple notes are no problem but the keyboard isn't conducive to lengthy tomes. You can highlight text. There are several font sizes to choose from. It's not backlit (which is what makes it easy on the eyes) so if you read in the dark then you'll still need that booklight.

That said, it doesn't replace a real book if you have the option. I loaded Sense & Sensibility to read but ended up at the library checking it out so I could look back more easily and figure out some things that are a little harder for me to understand.

I mainly bought it for the FanFic, so for that - I love it!
