I'm not trying to be mean or start an argument, but that was kind of rude to the fanfic writers out there, whether they are 15 or 50. Almost every plot line out there in fanfiction has been overused and done by now...but that doesn't mean that some of the stories aren't great, in spite of, or even because of, that fact. So it's fine if you don't like the amnesia thing, but it would be nice if you didn't put down the fanfic writers. They put their time and energy into writing, and whether it's good or bad, in your opinion, they should at least get some respect for doing it at all. Believe me, it's not the easiest thing in the world to put something out there for everyone to see and critique.

Actually I write fanfics myself and I can see how that broad attempt at humor went wide of the mark, and I would extend my apologies to any and all fic writers who were offended by my remark.

P.P.S Amnesia in the finale still = epic fail IMO.

Hey thanks, Robert. I didn't mean to sound preachy or anything, but I know a few young fanfic writers out there with very fragile egos, so I just didn't want to discourage them.

And I still loved the ending...lol!

Hey, no worries there. I grew up with a large extended family in which everyone felt you had a right to their opinion, so by the time I was ten my ego already had a healthy armor coating. I sometimes forget that what seems humorous or even mildly sarcastic to me can come across as mean spirited to other folks so I appreciate the reality check. Also I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from expressing themselves, good writers aren't hatched, they start out the same as everyone else they just put their product out there again and again and get better over time.

I gave it a 1.5 as I couldn't bring myself to mark the button next to 1. But that just may be because I have a strong aversion to AU... and the ending... was just ridiculous. It was a waste of an episode. I understand that the writers probably wanted to get some of the tension out of the way but this was just lame. And argh... amnesia? Basically, the whole episode felt very contrived to me and I had to force myself to pay attention to the whole thing.

I only gave it a 1 because of the amnesia.... and even then only because it appeared as if they finally have a direction they can take the show... not that that will do them any good. They could have gone a lot of places this season but didn't...

Basically the whole ep I was asking myself, why on earth I should care? Never got an answer to that question either. I thought nothing could be worse than London, boy was I surprised. So congrats Hart, on stooping even lower than I thought possible. If that's his idea of a love letter, well someone needs to teach him what love actually is.

going back on this... I totally agree with you Phoebs. Instead of writing my own, I should have just gone ahead and read through to see yours so I could just agree with it! And yeah... the why should I care thing was my problem as well. The whole episode was a waste, they're essentially 30 seconds from where they were at the end of the episode before, when he went into surgery... no character development, no nothing.

I'm glad you feel that way Razz, I worried for a moment. I'm just tired of being handed crap wrapped up with a bow and then being told to deal with it. This show has become offensive to my intelligence. But I'm not to worried... it's just a dream. Which as far as I'm concerned is a cop out. A lame excuse to try and remedy bad writing and poor execution. So I guess they can cover their butts all they want. If the new direction is dumbing the show down then they can all they want. But the magic is gone.
