WHICH SUPPORTS THE THEORY that this is the REAL Booth & Brennan having sex in the future some time. It supports everything that HH has said. It supports everything and it wasn't just HH being crafty with his answers and the interviewers having only asked the wrong questions. IT'S REAL BOOTH/BRENNAN SEX OMG! OMG! OMG!

It also explains the title: The END in the BEGINNING. As in the very last scene of their relationship--together, her wearing a ring, him telling her he loves her, her asking if she loves him, etc--In other words, it was the LAST scene of their relationship to air on this show (set in the future of course) being aired in the episode that Booth and Brennan first began to recognize their feelings for one another--where Brennan decided she was in love with him. OH MY GOD. O.O

we've been discussing this on the Book vs Dream thread, from the 2nd page on, Mama!

I have some difficulties to understand the thing with the clock, i know that i'm french so that made the thing a little bit more hard to understand but even if i saw the ep at least 5 times! I don't undersand the theory, Am I blind??

Hey everyone! I'm new here and just wanted to say hello!

I also just want to say how in love I am with the 2clocks theory. I think it explains so much with what was said about THE scene. I just think it is soo clever and really was a "love letter" to long time fans, showing that yes, eventually b&b are going to get together and everything is going to turn out how it should.

To clarify what I was saying, it would have to take TWO different alarm clocks to show two different time formats. That, combined with the title: The END in the BEGINNING, along with a ton of other theories found in this thread: [Only admins are allowed to see this link] lead me to believe that there is a time jump.

1. First scene where B&B make love is a future and REAL scene. Standard alarm clock time: 4:47. (This represents the END... the last B/B scene to ever air. A real representation of the B/B future.)
2. Second scene where the alarm clock is Military Time: 0543 is where the "story/dream" begin.
3. Last scene where Brennan is typing and Booth wakes up: Current B/B time. (This represents the BEGINNING of the Booth/Brennan romance.)

(These are my theories, at least.)

That's exactly right. It's meant to be a love letter and to show us that, as Hart Hanson said in an interview, "Eventually everyone who's supposed to be together will be together and everyone who's not supposed to be together won't be together." It's an assurance that things will work out as they're supposed to. I like the way you wrote that. It is indeed clever!

Thanks! Not that I think we were ever in danger of not having b&b end up together, but it was nice just to get that assurance. I really think that if they're able to end the series with enough warning, the last scene will be much like the beginning scene of EitB, to show the connection.

hart also said something else to support your theory further. And that was: one of his twitter posts about knowing exactly how the show will end.

With 2 more guaranteed seasons, this could definitely be true.
