And actually, the second time I watched it, I enjoyed it more since I was focusing just on the movie itself, and not comparing it to the book. It's still not my favorite, though...I think I enjoyed the first two more. But I'd say it's third.
I have a friend that's watching the movies this way and after she's seen the last movie she says she'll consider reading the books, the reason why is because she saw the first movie before she'd ever heard about the books and she doesn't want to change her perception of the movies by reading the books. I went the opposite way and read every book I could get my hands on after the first move LOL

Re: Harry Potter Fans
I saw the first 2 movies on VHS (yeah, that long ago) then I saw the 3rd in theatres before I decided to read the books. My Aunt kept trying to get me to read the books, but I kept telling her, "No, I only want to see the movies!" But then I decided to read the books. The best decision I ever made.

I thought I might "bumb" or "re-post" this article that Zeddie posted. It really is a touching story about Catie.

Sadly, pictures are not allowed. There was one thing in the Museum lobby that we could take pictures of, but we weren't allowed to take cameras in the actual exhibit. It's a shame, because it really was awesome.willgirl wrote:bones206 wrote:Hey try to get some pics if your allowed!

Re: Harry Potter Fans
I usually prefer to watch movies before reading the books if possible, but on Harry Potter I think reading the books before seeing the movies worked better. So much is left out in the movies that it really helped knowing the "whole" story. My husband and sons prefer to just leave it at watching the movies and don't plan on reading the books...their loss.
I am looking forward to the movie..though I thought the last movie was kinda sucky, but then, Half Blood Prince was my least favorite of the books. I nearly fell asleep in the movie and was kinda miffed because it was the one movie we actually paid full price for when we normally go for matinees..

I think the Battle of Hogwarts and the end of the movie is going to be the most epic movie part ever. At least it should be; hopefully they don't ruin that.

Re: Harry Potter Fans
I agree...they'd better do it justice! It should be awesome! I read an article a few weeks ago that listed some things that they'd better have in DH, according to fans, and Mrs Weasley's "Not my daughter you bitch!" was one of them, lol.Kasper wrote:willgirl wrote:By the way, can't wait for this part!

Re: Harry Potter Fans
They have all kinds of props and things from the movie sets, and it's kind of like you're walking through the books. There's the Gryffindor Common Room, Hagrid's hut, and Hogwart's dining hall, to name a few. They even have a room that has a bunch of Umbridge's decrees hanging on the walls. It's really awesome!bones206 wrote:flyersfan35 wrote:Sadly, pictures are not allowed.
