I agree but not all of us are in the public eye like she is. I say go with what you like and what fits you best. After all your the one having to wear it might as well like it right.

I agree, and I think she looks better when she does that. When it comes to dressing for formal occasions, however, I sometimes wonder who picks out her dresses.

With her bust, long legs, and overall carriage she looks best in empire waisted gowns that accentuate her bust (like the one at the beginning of the thread), or in A-line dresses that show off her figure. Also I think her neck, which is so elegant and sexy needs as much exposure as possible, and she has fantastic skin, so definitely anything off the shoulder or sleeveless, and anything with a sweetheart, scoop or halter neck is good IMO. Oddly enough though, I also think she'd be stunning if you went the opposite direction and put her in something with a bateau neck and long, delicate sleeves with a plunging back, again showing off some skin, but it would have to be a cocktail length and fitted, not A-line at all. Of course for that to work there'd have to be someone left in Hollywood that understood the meaning of cut on the bias so the fabric would drape correctly. I swear for every dress she's in where they tailor the bodice to fit her just right, or the waist to hug her curves just so, she's got two where the damn thing just hangs on her like a potato sack.

Liked the long dress, a darker color would have been better I think. It would have showed off her light skin tone and made her hairs auburn tones show up more, and with a smokey eye- her eyes which are already gorgeous, would be wonderful. I do like that she is wearing something more traditional but still stylish, sometimes she wears some things that are a little out there- always looking great doing it, but this dress is a nice change of pace.

Does any one know about the shoes she is wearing with this dress? Or have any other pictures of her in this dress?

I admit I'm a woman who loves shoes Smile

Funny, I didn't know that shoes had a dietary preference.

They aren't made of any leather or animal bi-product. Veganism doesn't just affect your diet but your wardrobe as well. Smile

I would fail because my dad bought me these amazing leather cowboy boots that look just like Taylor Swifts for graduation (since I already have a car those were number 2 on my list)

Rolling Eyes I know that, I was being facetious El. My bad, I was going for dry humor, must have missed the turnoff and hit desicated instead. Razz

Same here, I mean not the boots like Taylor Swift, who I'm sure doesn't wear my size, but I love leather (mind out of the gutter pervs!), I've got a couple of leather jackets and some kick ass Acme leather boots.

It's hard to catch sarcasm on the internet. especially when the person sucks at it.... jk. See that was sarcasm... poor poor sarcasm.

my mind wasn't IN the gutter till you said that! They aren't Taylor Swifts shoes, they LOOK like her shoes, they are the same ones made by the same company, they were $2,200... Like I said a graduation present, it's cheaper than a car.... i say that incase your jaw dropped like she paid how much for a pair of shoes.... these are them:

Agh! A hit, a very palpable hit!

$2200? Dayum girl, and I thought my gf's Jimmy Choo addiction was expensive. I'm not even gonna bitch the next time I see the credit card bill.

Other than that congrats on the boots, and yes they're cheaper than a car but I'm a guy and they're one pair of boots. It must be genetic or something but I've never even come close to paying that much for a good pair of ostrich skin boots and if I did I'd expect Taylor Swift to come with them. (Back me up here guys...guys?)

RM

btw, anyone know where the line "A hit, a very palpable hit" comes from? Consider this a pop-quiz!

i do not know where the palpable hit comment comes from... ::hangs head low in shame::

I don't buy $2,000 shoes all the time. It was a present for graduating high school. They are my most expensive pair of shoes and I never wear them, they sit on a shelf and I look at them and think, "Wow Taylor Wears these same things"

And yeah, i wish she was part of the package, sadly she is not. But her parents house is like 45 minutes from my house... I never thought to seek it out though...
