RIP Farrah Fawcett

Farrah Fawcett lost her battle with cancer today at a Santa Monica hospital. She was 62 and Ryan O'Neal's fiancee.

This topic is kinda in two places, here and in the Other Cast Members too - Ryan and Farrah getting married...

I just wanted to say, and I know it sounds totally crass, but I feel bad that Farrah and Michael Jackson both died on the same day. Totally shallow, please forgive me, but it would have been nice for her to have gotten a little something out of this. It would have been nice for Ryan and her family to hear people praising her some, even just for a little while. And now, I doubt that they'll even get that.

I'm so sad to hear of her passing. I wish Ryan and Redmond my sincerest sympathies.

I'm watching the ABC Dateline Special right now.

I was just like everybody else at the time, watching Charlie's Angels. Just about every girl in school sported that feathered hairdo. It's just a normal thing these days to feather your hair, but before Farrah came along nobody did it. Nobody.

And I remember watching The Burning Bed. That was amazing television back then.

I agree he kinda stole her thunder.... not that you could have planned something like this, and why would you? They happened so close to each other or at least, I found out within hours of each other. I called my mom to tell her about Farrah and not much later, I saw that he was rushed to the hospital, it wasn't until I got to work that all the parents were talking about Michael's death and I was like, No way...

So sad about both her and MJ, but even sadder that the media has just taken off with MJ's death and already forgotten about FF...well at least downhere anyway...
