then there was four...
This week four hollywood faces died... Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and now Billy Mays, who was the pitchman for the many products like Kaboom, OxiClean and Orange Glo. He was 50 years old.

OMG! I was listening to NPR not 10 minutes ago. And then they said something about Billy Mays! I was like, "Is he dead too?" And I come here, and I find out he is!

Re: then there was four...
For some reason I thought this would be something about the Jackson 5 now being 4. A product of my time, because I doubt anybody ever even thinks of the Jackson 5 anymore.
But when I saw that it was another death ... honestly I had to look up Billy Mays because it wasn't clicking. But as soon as I saw "pitchman" I knew.
He'd been in Philadelphia filming another OxiClean commercial. No clue as to what happened, but they mentioned a bad plane landing yesterday upon arriving home in Florida and that he'd been hit in the head by something.
I don't really know what to say. Strange. Sad. My condolences to his family and friends.

yeah DBC, something like along the same lines as what happened to Natasha Richardson. My friend LOVES him and she was so depressed when she heard.

Skiing, there have been several - you mentioned Natasha (on a beginner slope no less), and several years ago there was Sonny Bono and Michael Kennedy both really close together, and Christie Brinkley was dang near paralyzed. It looks fun, but I don't know.
This was quite a week for obituaries in the news.

I know this might sound kinda "unsympathetic" but,
I'm thinking, who's next?

It's not unsympathetic, it's just human nature. I'm thinking the same thing and honestly there are too many good actors and actresses out there over 50 who could go next. Getting old sucks but it beats the only alternative so far.bones206 wrote:I know this might sound kinda "unsympathetic" but,
