Random facts...

In honor of our own Mr. Nigel-Murray I thought we'd start a list of random facts. So if you have something totally random, here's the place to post them. I'll start.
- It's not physically possible to drink a gallon of milk in an hour. Your stomach is too small to hold the liquid and inadvertently you throw up.
- The Grand Canyon has a glass plank that extends 40 feet over the canyon with no visible bars of structure.
- Red. 40 food dye is made from crushed beetles.

They just installed something like that on the Sears Tower here in Chicago. 103 stories up, 1.5" of glass all around, including the floor. Apparently inspired by the Grand Canyon one and the CN Building.
No way in hell I'm standing on any of them!

Hmmm, random factoid time....
How's them factoids?

- The only domestic animal not mentioned in the Bible is the cat.
- Nutmeg is extremely poisonous if injected intravenously.
- The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female actually initiates the mating act by ripping the male's head off. (too many inappropriate jokes to pick just one...)

I love the last... Do they get their head back after the deed? Or do they die? Cause then the babies have no daddy!
