Season 5 wishlist...

You know something else that we never get is them alone, and I mean alone, not with each other, not with anyone. Maybe see them at their apartment and somehow knowing that they're thinking about the other. That'd be cool. I don't know how they'd do it though.

Actually, given the comments made by HH, it's entirely possible (or plausible?) that we might see one of them alone. She might be worrying about him and his recovery late at night or he could be fretting about how she's been acting since his surgery, ditto. I agree, that might be good to see. Of course, the only problem with that is there's no real chance of interaction, as opposed to the written word, and therefore no chance of moving the episode along. Brennan doesn't seem to be the type to talk to herself; I don't know about Booth.

Couldn't they make that an end of episode sort of thing, though? You know, something happens, they had a disagreement or for whatever reason they're not hanging out at the end of the day. Anyway, they've done stuff before like that where they have the montage with music and we get to see everyone. It wouldn't be that hard to do.

That would work, too. Might not see inside their heads, but one (or both) wandering kinda aimlessly about their respective homes/offices... Yeah, with the right music, that would say a LOT. Let's see--Brennan trying to read, but never turning a page, or picking up & putting down artifacts, unable to settle; Booth flipping channels like crazy?

Perfect. You see her just staring at the page and then she just looks up. Ooh, OR...she does that, and then there's a knock at the door and she gets all excited because well, we all know who she wants to be there. Only it's Angela or maybe Max or something. And you see her face kind of fall. Only, you know, maybe make it not so obvious because that might hurt people's feelings.

Also, on a slightly not related level, can we pleeeeeease get some Russ please? I know Loren was doing a movie or something last season and was away most of the time or something. But well, I kind of happen to like him. That, and I'd like to see the whole 'protective big brother' type of thing. If we can't see Zooey gueststar (or, well, even if she does), I'd really like to see Russ again.

You two are good at figuring out ways to make things happen. I like the ideas!

Can they just let us write for them? I mean really, I know there are some parts that are hard, but I'm pretty sure if a few of us got together we could handle it.

More Parker. More Booth back story, as well as Brennan's back story. Brennan's aunts. More action! They DO chase and arrest bad guys, so why don't get get very many fun action scenes? I wanna see Bones kick some guy's arse. xD I also want to see how Booth reacts when he thinks Bones is dead/seriously injured. It's always Booth who's getting the hospital visits, near-death-experiences, and...stuff. KISS. HODGELA. >.>
I hope they'll end up back together. >.< More on Sweet's past, too. I'd also like to see Cam and Michele together.

And last but not least, it would be AWESOME if Brennan chewed out Jared for being a jerk or doing something stupid (or both) in front of Booth. DRAMAA

I think Booth isn't going to be one to talk to himself, sniper training as well as a cop? It's all about discipline, the ability to maintain operational silence, focus on the task at hand. Now I can see him getting so twisted into knots worrying about her that he starts to talk to himself and then realizes he's talking to himself and thinks he's going crazy, but on a regular basis I just don't think he's the 'talk to himself' type.

Just what he needs after brain surgery & hallucinations...that ought to send him running back to the dr, assuming he's not being too much of a MAN . I agree, tho--under normal circumstances, he's not likely to talk to himself, but marginally more likely than Brennan. If that makes sense.

Excuse me? Too much of a man? Sweetheart there ain't no such thing. Speaking as a duly elected representative of the IBMMHR and a card carrying man, we got our reasons for not trusting the doctor. First of all they always find something wrong, okay? And if I want someone to handle my junk and stick fingers where they don't damned well belong, I at least expect a kiss at some point, m'kay? And don't get me started on the 'practice' of medicine, last time I saw my physician I called her a witch doctor, then I apologized on the grounds that no western medical professional should be called a witch doctor - because witch doctor's actually care about their patients. Seriously, last time I needed stitches I was tempted to do them myself - I've got a staple gun, swab the staples in alcohol and there you go, I mean how hard can it be?

The only reason any of us MEN go to the doctor in the first place is because we get tired of you WOMEN nagging us to take care of ourselves, so Booth being too much of a man? Not an issue. He'll go to the doctor because, like all of us he's whipped and Brennan has him wrapped around her finger wether he wants to admit it or not.

As for the last point, that makes total sense. That's a good point. I don't really think they'd ever talk to themselves; we'd see them moving around or maybe acting a certain way around other people that let you know there were annoyed, but I think that's it. However, Booth being the more "normal" (for lack of a better word, but basically more in tune with his emotions) one of the two, he'd probably be more likely. A situation I could see this happening were to be if Brennan were hospitalized and maybe hadn't woken up yet. He technically wouldn't be speaking to himself if he was talking to her, right?

Although...when Brennan was speaking the words of her book as she wrote them, she was technically talking to herself too, right? Proof about that whole the only person that can drive them to such lengths would be the other.

Oh...and when/if they're hospitalized or put in life and death situations, can we get longer glimpses of that? I'm not asking for a full-length scene necessarily, but it's like they always brush off hospital scenes and reunions. I don't like that.

Well since in season four we learned that Zach didn't actually kill that lobbyist, I think the squints need to hear that. I mean...even if he isn't able to work at the Jeffersonian or anything, his friends and family should still know what actually happened. They love the guy and deserve to know why he lied about it.

I want Booth and Jared's father to come to the Jefforsonian or go to Booth's apartment while Brennan is there and for Brennan to punch him once she learns who exactly he is.


I want to see Russ and Hayley(the "daughter" that Brennan read to in Knights on the Grid.) And Amy and Emma come along as well.

I'd like for Brennan and Booth to visit baby Andy again.


Sully to come back for an episode, stupidly believing that Brennan will take him back only for Booth to yell at him that he can't just waltz back into Brennan's life as if nothing happened.


For Max to team up with Angela and the rest of the squints to get Booth and Brennan together.

I kinda want Russ to know that everyone was wrong when they told him that his sister would be better off in foster care(He said in Woman in Limbo that everyone was telling him that)
