That would actually maybe work. I have a feeling something would happen to prolong them actually getting together, even though (hopefully) he'd only be around for an episode. I just kind of want a moment, whether it's him or even Jared or...well, Angela saying it make it too fanficy, but where they're watching Booth as he's watching Brennan. Sort of like a "Just tell her already" type of conversation.

And also, if anyone has to observe Brennan and Booth post-coital, I just think it should be Max. Not like..naked or anything. But picture a half naked Booth walking into Bren's kitchen to get coffee and Max is sitting at the table reading the paper or something, Booth turns and there's obviously no way to explain it away. So Max is like "Are you sleeping with my daughter NOW?"

*sighs*...but I've kinda accepted that that will never happen.

That Max part sounds familiar ... did you write a fix like that?? I swear I've come across that scenario before! I like it.

Well, there's Blind Dating by perscribo...there's a chapter where (a blind after surgery) Booth stumbles into the kitchen to hear Max instead of Brennan; don't recall the conversation, though. But it's an M-rated fic.

More sane, intelligent episodes that don't screw around with the characters and feature little to no science.

No baby.

No soap opera-like plots.

I like M's. I'll have to go take a look and see if that's it. If not, oh well, I guess I'll just have to make myself read it!!

I can be on board with those, would you be willing to sign the petition to get HH removed as the custodial parent of Bones? That way we can sue for custody and run the show right.

I concur vehemently. Sometimes, I wonder if he even wants his own characters to be happy. Or if he's just sitting in his office laughing and saying "What? You guys thought they'd actually get together? Things would actually happen?" We have a love/hate relationship.

Seriously though, I can sum what I wanna see next season in two words: Continuity and Progress.

I've got one to add to that, consistency. No more Girl in the Mask one week and Double Death the next. Give us good solid episodes, consistently, every weak. Consistency, Continuity, and Progress.

Oh, and something we CAN'T blame Hart for: for FOX to stop screwing us over. I think we were heard pretty well last season, what with the episode being on one week, skipping two or three weeks, then a new one thing. But still, we're teamed with Fringe which seems to be a favorite lately, so hopefully we can be safe.

Agreed. I'm tired of dialing in only to see "So you think you can Dance" or "American Idol". Here's a clue, the ratings on those shows are down almost 30% from previous years BECAUSE THEY SUCK ASS! Leave Bones alone. Jaysus.

Once or twice because of news conferences or something I can deal with, but I don't see them moving any other show to EVERY night of the week. I thank God we didn't get put in the death slot (Friday at 9) last season, which was the original plan. I don't get it. They talk about Bones, give them props and all, but then it's like they throw darts for where to put it. Thursdays, arguably one of if not the best and toughest night of the week, works well I think.
