I thank God we didn't get put in the death slot (Friday at 9) last season, which was the original plan. I don't get it. They talk about Bones, give them props and all, but then it's like they throw darts for where to put it. Thursdays, arguably one of if not the best and toughest night of the week, works well I think.

Fox would've been on acid or something if they put us on the death slot. This show is somewhat popular enough that the peeps at Fox would be CRAZY to do that to us.

BTW, the soup is running a Ryan O'neal gag and for a split second they showed his as MAx Keenan, and I was like thats right my show finally made it when it's been on the soup! Smile

You know what I don't get? Ghost Whisperer, while not wildly popular, has still survived Friday night for several years. *is confuzzled*

Aww...Max. I don't know if we'll be seeing him in s5, but can we at least get Russ? And Jared? And possibly them both together? Because really, a "You hit on my sister." moment would be freakin' hilarious. Laughing

Gawd help us!
We need Consistency, a guarantee that each and every show from week to week will be the best show they can give us. Well written, well researched, well directed and yes, well acted. No more will we tolerate the travesty that was Double Death, no more will accept a goofy Booth or a clueless Brennan. We demand a return to casework, procedure, and hard science - the things that made this show great before will make it great again.

But that's not all my friends, because we need continuity too! Booth can pick locks or can't he? Brennan owned a stickshift for two seasons but now she can't drive one? To this and a myriad of stupid stupid stupid mistakes we say NO MORE! Consistency will bring us the great scripts but it is continuity that will carry us forward, building depth and complexity in our favorite characters, bringing them to life, making them live for us.

Finally we need progress, because even if we have consistency and continuity without progress we aren't moving forward, we're going backwards. S1 and S2 had these things, so did S3, but without Progress wither S4? No where. No where. So in S5 with your help we can see that day a comin' that day when Booth and Brennan are going at it like Bonobo's on benzedrine, when Cam sees the security tape and realizes that this time it's NOT Angela and Hodgins, a time when we see the two-way mirror in the interrogation room get so steamed up Sweets can't tell who's doing what to whom. Progress my friends! Progress!

Consistency, Continuity, and Progress. A platform for a sound Season Five.

Well I'm not just the treasurer, I'm also the candidate to take over the show - me at the creative helm my Queen, and when I'm in charge a whole new era for Bones, and I'll bring you all on board with me. Bones the way it's supposed to be!

Ummm...that's a deal with the devil. Help take over my favorite show so it doesn't whimper to an untimely end, but in doing so, partner up with a *shudder* politician? Oh, Lordy!

Look at it this way, the devil you know...

I'm in, but don't ask me to lie to anyone. 'Tain't purty.
No need, I'll be lying enough for everyone. I don't like it either, to tell the truth (ha!), in fact I'm known for being honest and actually rather blunt, but I've learned from the best of them the how of lying. (a few exes taught me how the hard way).

I would have thought the sentiment was obvious. We love you for the sweet, funny, precocious child you are (even if you're really an 18 year old minx, it's the thought that counts).

I do feel special but if I adopt you that'll change the tone of our flirting and push it into the creepy range - although I do like the thought of you calling me daddy...
