Bones - Emmy Nominated! (premature, and no such luck!)

I'm confused. I hope I'm not plugging this and it turns out to not be true, but I just have to post it!

This afternoon I was on setje's boreanaz.net site and I saw this posted ...

So I went digging for it on a news site, and found this posted
at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences

61st Primetime Emmy® Awards Telecast Moves Back to Sunday, Sept. 20 on CBS

Nominations for the 61st Primetime Emmy® Awards will be announced
Thursday, July 16, at 5:35 AM PT from the Goldenson Theatre on the
Academy of Television Arts & Sciences plaza in North Hollywood.
More Primetime Emmy® awards information to come as available.




So ... does anyone know if setje has the kind of connections that she would know this kind of info before it's released publicly??!! How can that be! (But that's my mama's 75th birthday, and my heart wants to believe that she's sending us all a nice big wonderful gift from heaven for her birthday!!)

oh wow that would be great. but i remember a couple of weeks ago i was watching a show that i recorded on fox and saw that "Hero" was going to be on that week, but what got me was that it said " for Emmy consideration" during the spot. i hope that it true.

I want to believe that, I really do, because well...IT'S ABOUT TIME.

But, yeah...I still wanna wait until they announce things before I begin my squee fest. Because honestly. HITH wasn't as awesome as, say, Con Man for instance. But David WAS really great in it (if that's the episode they're referring to).

Yes! I've never heard the show being Emmy-nominated for anything!

I want to believe it too, but I just have to hold out for the public announcements as well. Everybody, cross your fingers, and if you can, cross your toes! *X*

it seems like everytime I start watching a show it becomes popular or starts doing really well in the ratings. I don't know why. Bones deserves to be nominated!!

That would be awesome for the show! They definitely deserve it...

Yeah I wouldn't trust it. All reliable sites say that nominations will be out on the sixteenth, but I really wish and hope and pray that they HAVE been nominated. It's long overdue!!!!!!!!!!!

if this turns out to be true, that is amazing news. I'm sure we'll hear soon enough from Hart on twitter or something. But, it certainly would be nice for them to get some recognition.

I can only imagine how excited Hart would be (let alone David and Emily and everyone else of course) if/when it does happen. The show deserves it, but we'll have to hold our breaths with everyone else until it's announced.

Nah, sorry but it means that they're up for consideration. Whoever makes the shortlist is only known on the 16th. I'd be as happy as everyone else, but I sincerely doubt it. With Brian Cranston, Michael C. Hall, G. Byrne, Hugh Laurie (who is long overdue, never mind my utter dislike of the show these days), Kieff, Michael Chicklis (who just finished The Shield), Spader... too many people, there already.
