I mean, I'm sure she didn't do that on purpose, of course, but why do people lay anything on the hood of their cars?

It is a place to put things while opening the door. I really think vehicles should have doors that open for you so you don't have to put anything down to open them.

I get that and I know that a lot of people do that, but if you lay something down there and open the door you still SEE it lying there, don't you?

Actually I have been known to put things in the spot where windshield and hood meet. It is a few inches deep so I might notsee when driving away. That is until it flies off. Or on the top hood/roof of vehicle. It would just fly off and you probably wouldn't notice.

I think I've never done that.....

OMG! I see sunshine It has been like 3 days since I saw it !!!!!!!!!! Hopefully my son will get a camp fire tonight, if not still too wet. And he won't be floating away in a tent.

I can honestly say that I have never put anything on my car, roof, hood or otherwise, and drove away, and I'm 40. She even put her purse there one time and started driving away...someone in another car yelled out their window to her to tell her...and she's freakin' 18 years old. *shakes head*

Well, the account is suspended, so nothing will work on the phone. Hopefully the person who found it will realize they can't do anything with it and return it...

not to discourage you, but I could in about an hour find at least 4 guys who could get rid of that little problem for me.....and I am not known for hanging out with strange people.....or living real people at all

I'm not sure how, since ATT has suspended the service, and the serial number is being tracked. If they could use it, however, it wouldn't be charged to that phone number, because it's being tracked per what ATT has said.

they contain information about the contract, number and the service informations
normally you shouldn't be able to change those infos but apparently it isn't such a big deal after all

Oh, we have those too, and for a regular phone, you can just switch the sim card, and then you can use the phone. But the iPhone actually has a different sim card than other phones, and they have to actually hook it up to their computer to transfer your info to the iPhone. From what they said, no one will be able to use it...but who knows? Stranger things have happened...though if something did happen, we wouldn't have to pay the charges, at least.

Haha, you'd like to think so. I hope so, anyway...but as long as we aren't being charged, I'm not too concerned. Though I really don't want to have to buy a new one.
