Does that seem like something that would bother him/them? I think as a whole we're pretty respectful. I remember somewhere hearing him talk about fans (like us) not really being all that much different than sports fans! We're just an energetic lot, that's all.ToZiKa wrote:DBCrazy wrote:Totally agree! yeah I started spending hours on youtube marking every bad comment about his wife being ugly, stupid or whatever as spam....I should get a meeting with him for that.....don't you think?
but you are right, we really aren't doing anything too bad

^^ Yeah, it's amazing how people show their true colors when they start that name calling. You may not be "into" women that look like her, but there's no way that she can be called ugly. And if they're just jealous because David picked her, oh well! Did they really think he was gonna pick them - with that attitude??

I know....I don't really like her looks either (never found blondes especially beautiful, wheter it be women or men)....but that's not important at all, because he should like her looks and he does and he loves her and that's enough to make her perfect for him imo.....

Re: DB Not at Comic Con Because of Wife
The video was quite amusing. David has always seemed to have a fabulous sense of humor.
I don't blame him one bit for staying home with his pregnant wife. If it were my husband I'd want him to do the same. Who's to say she couldn't go in to pre-mature labor? Who's to say her DOCTOR told him it would be better if he stayed put just in case. Or maybe he's just so blown away by how incredible she looks carrying his child he would rather stay home and help her take care of their son than anything else in the world? Whatever his reasoning, he is perfectly within his rights to make that decision. Kinda off topic here, but there's a country band called Sugarland, and they've been doing some concerts with Kenny Chesney. Their lead singer, Jennifer Nettles has been having some vocal problems since January and the doctor put her on vocal rest a couple weeks ago....some of the fans were just BRUTAL about them having to cancel some of their dates....I don't get why people think the whole world revolves around them and what they want. Celebs are people too you know?
*steps off soap box*
Sorry about the rant.

Re: DB Not at Comic Con Because of Wife
^ no need to apologize for the rant
they ARE people too...which is why when I saw people getting upset they never got their 'Demily' pix that I just saw RED...I can understand what Sherry said re: that if I had made plans to go to CC to see him specifically and he didn't show up, I would have been upset too...but all things being equal, his wife IS pregnant...people need to realize that at this stage in her pregnancy, he WILL choose her over them...it's only natural...when I saw him in May, she was what? 5 months...so I was REALLY lucky he was able to attend the UpFronts...if he didn't, I would have been upset sure...I went to NYC to see him specifically...but at the same time, I KNOW what his family means to him...hell, I half expected NOT to see him when I got there...he had turned 40 that Saturday so I was just praying he WOULD be there...and thank God he was...but I digress.
I guess I just don't see why people can't put themselves in the celeb's shoes and realize they have a a family just like everyone else...to David...? acting is a job...he's said it before that he's happy to be able to put food on his family's table...and I'm not saying all this to be argumentative...I just wish the fact he didn't go wasn't such a big issue...I guess I just defend him WAY too much...sigh...
sorry for MY rant...and it's JMO
