In the News ...

Post by DBCrazy on Thu Jul 30, 2009 7:40 am

News isn't always random or useless, nor is it always something to vent about or joke about, so if you see something In the News that you'd like to share here's a place you can come. And how about we keep the politics and religion to a minimum, okay.

EDIT: Oh no! I've been scammed. I hate that! (see dawn's post below.) And on the first post too. Crying or Very sad

Breaking News: Google Now Hiring People To Work From Home

I wouldn't be too confident about that one, sorry to say. Please see this: [Only admins are allowed to see this link]
Most if not all of the "Google work at home" ads are simply an extremely cruel hoax. Evil or Very Mad Sad If you do apply, please be very careful, and if they ask for money or your bank account info, say no and back away. That would be the hallmark of the scam.
Trust me, if this were legit, I'd be all over it like white on rice, since I've been out of work far too long.

Tel Aviv, Israel. One of my LJ friends is a big supporter of gay rights in Israel and lives near there. I heard it from her.

So glad someone else agrees! i was talking about it at work today with someone and they were saying how great it is for parents to be able to get out and have a drink with friends!
Its like by all means do that, but dont bring you children along to boogey the night away!
