Which Brennan??

Do you like the divorced ex alky that is Brennan in the books?

I seriously can't vote for one of them.
I love them both. And they are so different, that it isn't even hard to love them both.
And I also love both their men......Ryan with the way-too-blue-eyes and Booth....both quite hot.....so how could I ever decide.....

I voted for show Brennan, I know her better than the book Brennan. Plus with the visual I feel her pain easier than I do for novel Brennan.

I like them both for different reasons. Show Brennan is a genius yet endearingly naive about some aspects of our culture, that plus her troubled history make her a extremely sympathetic character and Emily is so good in the role that I can't not vote for her.
Tempe of the novels, on the other hand, is the kind of woman I'd be friends with, maybe even date if Em wasn't available. She's sarcastic, funny, smart, and yes she's got her baggage but it makes her all the more real. I like them both very much but Tempe loses to Temperance because of Emily.
Is it sad that I'm that predictable?

Haha...not really. It makes sense.
Seriously though, they're pretty much two different characters, so I don't think I could pick between the two. I'd probably relate to book Brennan more, but Em, as Rob so wondrously pointed out, is amazing as well, making TV Brennan great too. (Although obviously, I'm sure our reasons for thinking so are different.)
Anyway, yeah...I don't think I can choose. I love them both.

I think in my case, it was the version I grew familiar with first--the TV one. It's like Princess Bride: I watched the movie 1st and it edges out the book that little bit, though I enjoy both.

You are predictable. But what if Temperance wasn't played by Emily. Would you still choose the same thing?

I haven't read very many of Kathy's books, just Monday Mourning, so, I don't really know book Brennan all that well. I voted for Bones Brennan, 'cause, well, I just know her more and who can say no to Bones?
