i got the book nanananananana

So I went to Kathy Reichs book signing!!

She was supposed to read from her latest book, "206 Bones" but she didn't which is okay. Because I bought the book and can read it myself lol. But I got to meet her. Which was super awesome and cool .

so, she talked about the steps into becoming and Forensic Anthropologist approx. 10 years. and how when she first started in the field, they had to disect human cadavers and she couldnt eat chicken for a long while after, but then she got so used to it that she ate lunch right by the bodies lol.

and the difference in climate between north carolina and montreal. she said SHE loved!!! Canada except for the cold winters. And she told us about how she would psych herself up everytime she came to montreal saying, it's going to be cold, prepare yourself. and she'd get out of the terminal and be cold lol.

and how she had to wardrobes of clothing; one for north carolina and one for montreal lol. oh and that she started writing in 1990's after she became a professor at the university. and that writing was what she did because she had so much spare time on her hands. and plus she had 3 kids going to university and a little extra money never hurt anyone lol. oh and she visits montreal at least once a month...so go stalk her

Agh, so I was looking at the sneak peeks on Amazon's website. You know, the random pages they have up so you can get a feel for a book? Well, I was trying to be good, not spoil myself entirely and all. Except I'm almost positive I've read the ending. Not that I wanted to, I swear. It doesn't really give the WHOLE story away, so I guess I'm not completely ruined. And I'll be buying/reading anyway.
