I haven't seen S1, so I never knew Charlie as himself really. So, I must say I was happy to see Olivia kick his shapeshifting ass! I'm sure once i watch S1, I'll feel bad that he's dead. Wink

*sniff* Sad Charlie...

Did any of you catch when that woman, what was her name--Walter's old test subject--looked at Peter and he glowed? Heh.

And that end shot was just creepy.

Yeah, Rebecca. And that was SO weird! Why was Peter glowing?! He can't be a shapeshifter...can he?!

No, but he was born on that alternate Earth, and that's what she sometimes sees (the glow is point of origin, not the soldier thing). And given that she knew "him" as a baby and he didn't glow then...that could be trouble if she talks to anyone.

Thanks for the update, heiro. Hubby and I just started waching S1. I have one thing to clarify: John Scott was NOT Olivia's fiancee!!!!!The whole fiancee thing had me SOOOO confused 'cuz I was thinking, "wow, this chick (Olivia) has really bad luck. First, her fiancee dies, then her sort-of-partner dies." So, just to get everything straight, he was NOT her fiancee...right? Unless he proposes to her in their shared dream state that I have yet to see.

I've only seen the first 2 epis...but loving it so far!

Not while he was alive, he didn't. He told her he loved her, but that was all.

You're right, Meegs. I guess after she found the ring and it was sorta "not-explicitly-said-but-still" that he was to propose, it was something of a shorthand in my head: Secret lover/fiance to be -or something. Suspect But yeah, you're right not officially the fiancee. Still, you know, poor Liv, the lack of title doesn't diminish the shittiness of her situation. It's like, losing her beloved non-boyfriend is the less insane thing that's happened to her in this show. lol

Well, now I can't wait to get to the episode where she finds the ring! Smile I figured you knew EXACTLY what you were talking about, but I was really confused after just watching the pilot. I have to wait for the next Netflix disc to get here. Grr...
