Hey, I cant get it to work... can someone help me?

Ok, so tomorrow is the season premire of Bones (woo hoo) and I'd like to record it... But since we have the converter box thing now, I can't have my VCR's power on at the same time as the converter box's is. And it looks like there is no way to plug the VCR into the converter box. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could record this without downloading it from the computer since I can't do that either?

I'm no expert, so take this as seriously as you like...
But my antenna was originally plugged into my VCR, so when I got the converter box, antenna's plugged into the box, box is plugged into the VCR, which is plugged into the TV.
I should clarify that I have the rabbit ears, but I would think an aerial would operate the same way. Bounce it off your resident expert or double check the box's instructions.
