It does mean 'Rock on' Smile

It would be 'I love you' if his thumb was up: pinky=I; combo of forefinger and thumb=Love; combo of thumb and pinky=You Smile Put it all together and you get 'I Love You' Smile

My great-niece is profoundly deaf. I sign as well but it's been a few years so I asked her to verify for me. If the combo David is using represents ILY in ASL? It's new to her. Smile
