The only places I will no longer go with women, however, are museums. They want to glance and race through while I want to absorb and relive every artifact.

Yeah. I'll give you hardware stores and electronics stores. But... I find I must accompany him into both or else he spends wayyyy too much money. I love museums. I'd stay all day in one. or galleries... love them.

Isie and I spent 3 hours in the Crime and Punishment Museum on Saturday, 2 of those were on the first floor alone. If we wouldn't have been exhausted from the long day, added to the fact that the museum was closing in 30 minutes, we would have stayed longer.
You earn a few points - but I am puzzled how you could see a whole floor properly in less than a week . . .

I thought that Saturn was purchased by Volvo, or someone like that?
Nope, GM. And not only are the cars reliable, but the service is unbeatable...well, not that I ever needed any, but my mom bought a used car from the Saturn dealership, (not a Saturn vehicle), and any time she had to take it in for service, the car was washed and a mint was on the driver's seat when she went to pick it up.

You can't, but you have to have some restrictions. I've been there 3 times and still have not seen it all. I can't wait to go back.

It was Penske - they were going to purchase the entire manufacturing operation from GM, but the deal fell through. Too bad . . .

Some of the greatest galleries I have found are totally random. There was this one in Sydney, that just had close-up photos of faces of monkeys as the exhibit. It was amazing.

They just delayed the inevitable. Opel was dead in the 70's when GM bought them. The only European car companies that thrived under U.S. ownership were those bought by Ford. But Ford is the number one manufacturer of glass and satellites in the world so those businesses allow for some forgiveness in the sluggish performance of auto companies.

I am despised by the librarians in the reference sections o every library I have ever visited. I know their inventory better than they do. Helps to haver an interest in the subjects and a photographic recall.

It has been remarkable to watch history repeat itself in just 35 years. We are pretty much back to the way things were with Jimmy Carter as president. Wait for the crippling stagflation and more companies to die and it will probably be Korea that acts like Japan and monopolizes on the opportunities , this time around.
