Say What You Want: Goodbye, dear ABY. You have been my home for 3 years now, and I am going to miss you. Thanks, willgirl, for creating this wonderful forum. *hugs to all*

Closing time - time for you to go back to the places you will be from.
Closing time - this room won't be open 'til your brothers or your sisters come.
So gather up your jackets, and move it to the exits - I hope you have found a friend.
Closing time - every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

I've heard that and I've enjoyed the MLB games that I've gone to. Our seats are in the third deck, but on the other hand they were free so I'm not bitching. The hubby grew up loving the Habs as well so he's going to enjoy it no matter who wins, but of course we're pulling for the Nucks!! I can't wait to see how big they all are in real life though, that should be amazing!! And the puck movement and just the speed of the game which is something that can be conveyed on tv!

The higher you are, the better the view of the game is. I like sitting further up... I sat on the lower level at the Prudential Center behind the goal and I felt like I saw nothing...

Friends of ours said the same thing. If you're on the first level, it's hard, 'cause you're basically just watching what's going on in front of you, but the higher you are the better view you have. It was nice at the ball game to be as close as we were but with a face paced game like hockey I think you kind of do want a birds eye view. Although I hear that there is no bad seat in GM Place....the last time I was there was for a KISS concert and I was a little drunk.

yeah if you sit in the 100 level unless you are in the last few rows, it's hard to see everything. 200 & 300 level in the corners are great seats to be in so you can see all the action.

I totally agree...if you're in the lower level, you should sit as far up as possible. Though I definitely recommend an end...

I agree, the higher the better, unless its in the nosebleed section I always watched hockey games from as high as I could get, but we're talking local rinks here, not huge arenas.

my dad said that the hockey scouts sit in the 200 level corners. I hope you get there a little early since you can watch the teams do their pre game warm up, which is fun.

Yay, the Sens finally won a pre-season game! 6-1 against the Habs! Kovalev scored the first goal too...it must be weird playing against a team you just played for. Fisher got a hat trick too, but sadly not hats. Go FISH!! keep it moving into the reg. season boys!

how's Emery Fly? Wink I have a Emery jersey...

Bella, they have Bobby Lou...life is good. I was just thinking, if he makes the Oly team...how insane will the pressure be on him.. like not only are you the goalie in the oly's in CANADA but in VANCOUVER!

Here's to a repeat of Salt Lake City!!!! Canada Baby!!
