Boooooo!

Brennan is hilarious. Is anyone else wondering WHY she has a ring on her left finger? I know it can't really be significant, but I think the props/costuming people messed up. She wears her mother's ring on her right hand, I'm pretty sure. She has never had a ring on her left ring finger. Weird.

I think a ring on the wrong hand would indicate that ED messed up, I mean that's kinda something she just puts on before they start filming

As for the ring on her left hand, maybe she is engaged in real life.

I don't think so the beaver1965. Maybe just a costuming error???

Emily isn't engaged, plus that would be a HUGE mess-up on her part. If Emily had accidentally put the prop ring on her left finger, you would think the continuity people on set would have picked up on it and they would have reshot the scene. But who knows, people make mistakes. Unless they're undercover again as an engaged couple, but probably not. I just find it very strange.

Of course, Booth wasn't wearing a wedding ring in "The End In The Beginning" either, so maybe they're just bad with the prop rings!

About the ring, it looks to me that the shot has been flipped.

Though I am surprised that Stephen Fry wasn't in the promo.

Well, that would explain it then.

i believe its flipped too, because ED doesnt wear the rolex on the right hand. usually if you are right handed you wear a watch on the left wrist and vice versa.

I wonder why they flip shots at all?
why not just leave it the way it was shot?
doesn't make any sense to me.....maybe someone here (*cough*meegs*cough*) knows why they do it?

Not being engaged, but being engaged and then forgetting to take off her OWN ring would be a mess-up. And it wouldn't happen because a.) Emily is too professional and wouldn't be silly enough to forget anyway and b.) the costuming/prop people would catch it.

Hehe. Oh, I wish I knew...but I don't. It could be about camera angles and what they want to convey in a preview being different from the actual scene. Much like how preview editors for movies and TV shows often chop up bits of dialogue to make it SEEM like a person is saying something specifically to another person when in actuality, it's very different. Dose that make sense? Maybe Brennan is on the other side of the boxing ring, but for the preview's purposes, they flip her to match where Booth is physically in the scene. Since clearly, they wanted to get her reaction of sticking-out-of-the-tongue and the "Boooo" across. Most likely, her response does NOT come right after Booth's actions.

Just a thought.
