Just in case there is someone here who doesn't know. Smile

Q: On the show "Bones," I noticed two hockey pictures behind the desk of Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz). One is a black-and-white of the Philadelphia Flyers, and the other is a nice color photo of Bobby Orr. What is the significance of these pictures? -Brian Cross, Burlington, Ont.

A: Boreanaz is a huge hockey fan. He played on a charity team at the 2008 Sundance festival, has blogged about the NHL and even did voice-overs for Stanley Cup playoff promotional spots. Though he was born in Buffalo, he grew up in Philadelphia and is an ardent Flyers fan. Hence, the poster -from their 1970s "Broad Street Bullies" days -and the picture of the great Orr.

I've often wondered about those pictures and exactly who they were. Thanks Bug!

Bobby Orr is hockey royalty!

There is also a poster of Alex Ovechkin in the diner that can been seen sometimes. Mostly just the 'Ovechkin' part. He plays for the Washington Capitals.

I was clicking through the channels yesterday and I saw Bobby Orr! And now I knew that that was something!

I watched part of the Winter Classic in Fenway Park, but I don't know enough to be able to tell what was really going on. But sadly, even though the Flyers were leading most of the game the Bruins tied it right at the end and won it in overtime.

Bobby Orr was named honorary coach for the Bruins, his former team, for the Winter Classic.

You are very welcome. I have actually never noticed the pictures. Sad I am always watching the interaction between the characters so much that I rarely pay attention to scenery.
