Any Philes out there???
I've noticed that some of us are fans of the X-files (Me included) and we really didn't have a place to chat about it. So here's the place.

YAY!!! Good idea!!! It'll be fun to chat about next week's Bones epi since the title is "The X In The File." Can't wait for the M&S references!!!

The Flukeworm was classic. Wasn't the Flukeworm under the escalator? I can't think of a most disgusting case, but do you remember the case with the circus performers, and the one guy had a parasitic twin that could go out and commit crimes. That disturbed me. Still does. What are most people hiding under their clothes? We'll never know. *shudders*bones206 wrote:So, I'll start it...

No, the escalator one was with the guy that made a nest. That one was gross too. Flukeworm was in the sewer.
The parasitic twin one was pretty bad too. It really makes me not want to go to circuses more than I already don't want to. (Did that make sense?)
How about...
Favorite M&S scene?

Mine was in the episode about baseball. When Mulder and Scully play baseball together. The whole "Hips then hands" conversation... loved it! Could it get cuter???

Re: Any Philes out there???
"Hips and Hands" was by far, the best MS moment of the show (in my book)
Yes, another phile here. I feel slightly disturbed just admitting I've watched every single episode of that show more than once. Ten years, that's a lot of tv. O.O
Favorite episode? God, that's hard. Most disturbing one? Hmm....Maybe Home. That one really freaked me out when I first watched it. And Tooms. Never been able to look at an escalator in the same way.
*sigh* I love this topic. Thanks Bones!

Suffixes[/prefixes] with the common part -phil- (-phile, -philia, -philic) are used to specify some kind of attraction or affinity to something, in particular the love or obsession with something.

Toz - it's a play on '-philia' and 'file'.
OMG, The Calusari! That one is also one of my favorites (look for me repeating that sentence quite a few times throughout this thread). Love the creepy kid ... and the creepy grandmother.
