I love Em's dress, but photogs seem to have this thing for dressing Zooey up like she's five years old, it's just wierd.

yeah i've noticed that too especially in pics with em. Emily and Zooey fascinate me. Sometimes I think they look so much alike it's scary, but other times...not at all. They have some very similar features...and some very different and yet you can 100 percent tell they are siblings.

Don't know where I saw this pic....but it was emily/zooey and their mom jumping in the air. it was really cute. the only one of the three i've ever seen. I think zooey looks like their mom. She's has that petite frame like her.

Yeah, I'd say that might be a good indicator about being a big fan! I have to say I love this pic - it does make her look totally different though. I haven't quite put my finger on what it is though... hmmm.

I think it's a combination of things, first the pose has her hunched over and her head forward, so the perspective it gives makes her face look larger. Then she's got that wide, open smile but her eyes are half hooded, almost like bedroom eyes, so to me her expression seems particularly inviting. Add in the lighting, the grey gauzy gown, the maroon sateen background and the soft focus nature of the shot and it makes the whole shot seem warmer. Then again that's just me.

I love this pic of the sisters Deschanel. The pose is so "them"! Emily as the responsible older sister, hanging on to Zooey, but with more than a wicked glint in her eye and Zooey with that fabulous, kooky look she does so well.
