Would have taken 2 seconds of air time and would have made the whole situation of her driving a whole lot less jarring for the audience, we've spent almost 100 episodes with Booth being the primary driver ( unless he's not in the car, or he's hurt), it's just weird for it to happen and not be mentioned at all.
