WOW! What a dress!

I honestly have to say I think this is the first time I don't really like what she was wearing. I love her style, but this just didn't work for me. But it doesn't really matter as long as she feels awesome in it!!

she's in brennan's clothes here... I know it's from the 100th episode wrap party but in that charity auction she an ZD held it was offered up as something she was going to wear in an episode of bones. Plus she still has the icky brennan hair they have been giving her this season...

No's winning...68 to 32. I wouldn't wear it even if I had her figure--but I don't like loud patterns.

Good point about it being Brennan's dress! Hadn't even thought about that.

oh ok...still not my fave. yeah her hair is weird this season it's like flat with no movement and then a little curl a the bottom...i'm rewatching season 4 and her hair was nice then.

The dress isn't anywhere close to hideous, IMO. What it is is too matronly for Brennan to wear. I laughed when I read about the mousepad! I kinda like the dress, but not really for her. I feel like I've had something along that line somewhere along.

Did anyone else notice that she's wearing hose/stockings? It's been so long since I've seen anyone on TV wear hose that I noticed it immediately.

I have to say that I'm curious to see what the occasion was in the show for her to be dressed like that - that's what I wanna see.

Yeah, somehow the word "matronly" does not come to mind when I see her in this dress. The cut of the dress itself is extremely flattering for Em's figure, and I love the scoop neckline - the problem with the dress, AFAIC, is the pattern. I kept thinking I saw it somewhere before and then I remembered - I had a couch with that exact same pattern on it. And as bad as that is, I still think she looks pretty damn good.

Excellent catch! I've noticed she does wear hose/stockings more often than most stars/actresses. I have to say I'm a fan of the look, and a definite fan of stockings on women. It adds a touch of class to the over all ensemble. Case in point:

I too am curious to see what occasion Brennan is wearing the dress for. I can't imagine it would be part of a flashback since she was so "eco-warrior" in S1. And it's not fancy enough for a Jeffersonian party. It'll be interesting.
