I don't know if you were being sarcastic with the price tag, but that's actually rather cheap. I've seen smaller houses going for more. The SoCal housing market is ah... mystifying.

Yeah, I've got a buddy who lives in LA, he's got 2400 sq ft ranch on a ¾ acre lot and it was recently appraised for over a mil. This house is more than twice that one in size, has an excellent view and is a helluvalot nicer. I was being serious, if I had the coin I'd buy that sucker - its beautiful. Plus the grill kicks butt, I mean:

Heh, yeah, every house has that one room you just need to do something with, and that bathroom is IT! I'm sure there was a reason for it, just not sure what it was.

Ummm makes me wish I had some cash cause there's not much I'd change about this house, I particularly love the outdoor stuff ( yeah the grill was awesome, but did you see the fireplace???) Ok that black and white bathroom would have to go for sure, and I wasn't in love with the backsplash in the kitchen ( is it weird that I even noticed the backsplash? ), but all in all a nice house.

Really nice outside area. I wish it got cold enough here to warrant having an outdoor fireplace...or even an indoor fireplace!

Nice view! And yeah, the wallpaper or whatever in the bathroom has got to go. Definitely like the fireplaces, too.

And from the outside, it looks almost modest.

This has been on the market for a few months now. I love his house. It's very very modest and reminds me of the east coast. not at all what I would have expected from a celeb. makes me like him even more.

The bathroom...eek. lol I was reading a review on this house at a realtor website and they gave him mad props because it looks like him and jaime actually could have decorated it....rather than having some over priced beverly hills designer do it.

I love the outside and the tv room is to die for. It's not very big for a celeb I suppose...maybe it's just too small with bardot there now? LOL I laugh at tthat because me and my two brothers grew up in a house half that size just fine lol This is the best time to buy though if you have the money! Not the best time to sell.....he's gonna get robbed. There is no way he'll get what he's asking for in this market.

are there any pics of emily's duplex floating around? I really want to see what it looks like because her and zooey have such unique styles.

It does look quite modest for what you'd imagine of a celeb's house.

Mentioning that grill in the backyard makes me think of Booth building that setup in Dr. Wyatt's backyard. He does have a knack for bringing things from his life into the show. Maybe he'd wished he could've done the work himself, then again maybe he did! Oh, who knows.
